Difference Between The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

There are fans for the heroes and the villains, but the ugly ones usually don't have any support from the viewers. Between the hero and the villain, there will be some ugly characters. They are not as bad as the villain but people hate them more than the villain. When I say "ugly" it's not about how one looks, it's about his attitude.

Ugly characters are the ones who switch sides between the hero and villain for their benefit. I can't say they are not intelligent, but usually, they make a bad impression on me.

Change is a good thing but the ugly one's changes are just without any attitude change. Simply, they don't change their principles or ideas, they don't even have them. They don't have any certain belief they are stumbled upon.

Even if the bad guys do something bad they believe what they do is right, according to their principles. They have a belief they are not lying to themselves. Even if it's a bad side they have a side to pick. Ugly ones stand in the middle and switches back and forth.

These are not just in the case of movies, it's also same in the case of real life. The truth is that I was an ugly one, not cheating someone or something like that. But it's hard for me to pick sides.

If there's a fight between friends, I always tried to stand with both of them, even when there was a side I believe that is right. It was the fear of losing the opposite side as friends, which pushed me back from picking one.

Eventually, I started changing this attitude. I realised that it's really ugly. Standing for something that you believe wrong is like disrespecting ourselves. If the side I pick is even the wrong one, I can say that I believed in it. I'm not saying like you can't change from bad to good, change is needed only after the change in belief.

So nowadays I don't care about being bad, I always try not to be ugly. These may seem like some stupid philosophies, but I felt like it's a worthy one at this moment.

I don't like pushing a certain philosophy to others and forcing them to believe, this is just like I'm saying there's this kind of a thought in my mind, you could analyse and come up with some better version of it or just reject it.

And finally, it has nothing to do with the film The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

Great analogy and you make a good point that nobody likes the ugly type of people. Pick one side or the other because people will see through you.
