Greetings friends!

Traveling around the world of postage stamps, one may come across the fact that beauty, or beautiful, often needs deep comprehension, often, the first impression can be deceiving.

Beauty can be funny, ridiculous, repulsive, and horrible.

We humans are used to measuring it by our own standards.

For example, a drop fish, a very strange inhabitant of the deep sea, but for those who understand that our opinion is less than the opinion of the Creator, this fish is beautiful.

Sometimes, people themselves create strange creatures by selection, just look at the dachshund, basset hound, or sharpei, to this add bald cats, rats and chickens with a bare neck, there is no limit for perfection, lol.

Look at contemporary art, it is difficult to understand it at first glance, it needs to be felt like a piece of aged cheese and the aftertaste.

Such, at first glance, a strange creature, a bird, is bird Atlantic Puffin (Fratercula arctica), which we see on a postage stamp with a face value of 6 kopecks of the USSR, from series Nature Reserves of the USSR - Water Birds, issued in the USSR in 1976.

The head and beak of this inhabitant of the northern seas look funny, ridiculous, but if you look closely, you can see the splendor of the colors, their jewelry convergence in clear, unblurred edges.

Dead end, a great hunter who can chase two hares at the same time, sorry, he hunts fish and can catch several fish with his beak at once.

As you can see, the postage stamp from my collection is slightly damaged in the back and needs to be replaced.

But, I have a guideline for replenishing this series and for replacing it with a postage stamp in perfect condition.

For my publications, I do not use stock photographs, it is fundamentally important for me to use photographs that I have made with my own hands for publication and I can name them - authorial work.
