Greetings friends!

Looking at a series of Pheasant's postage stamps, issued in Vietnam in 1979, I had a humble anecdote related to the restaurant business and knowledge of the world around.

After every visitor to a Vietnamese restaurant in the world, there is one more bird watcher. If in doubt, imagine this situation:

You come to a Vietnamese restaurant and ask to bring you a baked pheasant, but the waiter asks you to specify the type of pheasant you want to eat. I understand your reaction, you do not care which pheasant is being fried for you, but the waiter does not give up and asks you to clarify.

The fact is that some types of pheasants feed on cereals, others, for example, like to feast on flowers and young bamboo shoots, because of this, the taste of meat of different types of pheasants may differ. Before ordering at a restaurant, read everything there is to know about the many pheasant species in Vietnam ... after that, I'm sure you can consider yourself a birdwatcher lol.

I doubt that the restaurant will serve you a pheasant called Edwards's Pheasant (Lophura edwardsi), which we see on another postage stamp, in view of the fact that its population in the world does not exceed two and a half hundred individuals, and, if, suddenly, and will be offered to taste it, then it is worth refusing).

Let's take a look at this postage stamp.
