Greetings friends!

It is probably very difficult to survive in a world where there are many predators and hunters, when you have such bright plumage as the Temminck's Tragopan (Tragopan temminckii) pheasant, which we see on a postage stamp from the Pheasant series issued in 1979 in Vietnam.

Today, many people think about isolation from the outside world, looking for land plots for construction far from cities, in forests and in the mountains, so did these birds that live in the mountain regions of northern Vietnam and Tibet.

There, the probability of meeting a hunter is reduced to zero.

It is surprising that such pheasants, in which egg-laying is rather low - 2-4 eggs, were able to survive to this day.

Based on the image on the postage stamp, these pheasants love to sit on the branches of trees.

European pheasants, or, more precisely, the Caucasian pheasant Phasianus colchicus, which is found in the European part of the Eurasian continent, which I met, most often hid in the bushes of rose hips and blackthorns, in tall grass, or in the reeds on coastal.

Let's take a look at this postage stamp.

I edited a photo in the program PhotoDirector, which I also installed on my smartphone.
For my publications, I do not use stock photographs, it is fundamentally important for me to use photographs that I have made with my own hands for publication and I can name them - authorial work.
