RE: Why circle jerking isn't so bad

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

Make posts, make comments, make friends, be successful.

I do not understand why people can not see the simplicity of that.

If Hive is not about that we may as well take away all rewards and everyone gets a golden star on all the post even if it is a single period, or empty post with just a title, that did after all garner someone who liked soup on steem a lot of votes it was such a high and mighty artistic post from bernie, (sorry took a bit to remember his name). So there is always that direction for people to take.

I had a small group of people that I voted on when I started out. It took time to get the slider bar and to be able to adjust my votes so I could vote on more people. I even learned how to use steemchillers vote tool to drop my vote below 100% before I got my slider.

People have short term memory of how hard it was to get that I liked A's post, I saw a great comment and followed up on B's content, then both A and B started giving me a few votes every now and then, and all of a sudden C,D,E, and F were giving me votes and I was giving A, B, E and F votes, C and D were two T & A type people and I knew nothing about crypto.

Circle jerk stuff is pretty meaningless on Hive now, Voting circles that are Reward Abusive are found and stops put in place. I still am a strong advocate "It's your vote use it how you see fit", person.
