Women in Politics

When I woke up this morning a thought came to me and I was asking myself why most women don’t find politics interesting in our world today. I have travelled to some places and believe me when I say I see women less concentrated about politics.

To me I don’t really think it’s the best idea. Many people who got the gift of leadership who are women don’t pay attention to it anymore maybe they feel the men are better representative but I’ll tell you that in a generation where you as a woman is given the talent of been a good leader and you don’t get it realized, there usually arise some complications in the economy because the position you were mearnt to handle, another person who has no idea and wisdom is currently on it.

Am not writing this post to point out flaws, like I use to say everybody got one. But I’m am writing you the reader of this post and I appreciate your time spent in reading it, if you have the gift of leadership, please explore it.

Why do you have to explore your leadership skills

Believe me also that everyone is born with a gift and you know yours however, if you don’t know what you are gifted at? I will publish a post on “realizing your gift” and also exploring it to the world.

A Short Story
I will like to share to you a religious story, I believe in the existence of supreme being which is God and he has been good to me because he watches over me. This is something pragmatically proven.

There was a king in the bible who was named “Solomon”, he had a dispute to settle between two female citizens who gave birth to baby each. On the process one lost her baby and both live together.

Out of jealousy she never wanted to remain as such due to shame and she decided to carry her dead baby and replace it with the other woman’s own taking her own also at the middle of night when sleep is at work.

You know babies as at such age were newly given birth too and also they couldn’t even distinguish their mother.
The case was taken to the king for false claim of baby ownership. The person who did the wrong suggested that the baby belongs to her and the real owner of the baby also claims her baby is hers.

How did the king settle the dispute?
He immediately ordered his guard to bring the baby and slice it into halves given one half to both of them and guess what? One of the woman was in support of the idea whereas the real owner of the baby declined the idea and suggested the baby be given to the false claimer.
This was when the king got to know that no woman who bore her child in pains will want to see her child killed because of a dispute. Its better she leaves the child but there is one thing called “Karma” it must surely speak the truth later on.
The king gave the child to the mother who is the real owner and the other left in bigger shame.

Conclusion
I brought up this story to stir up that gift of leadership in you. Not everyone is expected to be a leader but some ladies I come across, I do see some leadership skills in them which they are yet to explore. Exploring your leadership skills involves you affiliating with the right people.
I have a question to ask, if Solomon wasn’t there to carryout such test of wisdom, How would the case have been resolved amicably?
