Hive blockchain gets free marketing through branding overlapping

Hive (hive.io) is a DPos-powered blockchain and cryptocurrency. Being fast, scalable, powerful, and feeless, it succeeded to gather a thriving ecosystem of dapps, communities, and individuals. With blogging at its core, it is the place to be for any content creator and is offering him or her an instant framework to start publishing. I simply call it a decentralized WordPress blockchain (and so much more ;)).

Maybe not many or all of you know, but there is also another Hive Blockchain company (https://www.hiveblockchain.com/) which is the first publicly traded crypto miner, being listed on Toronto Venture Exchange since 2017. It claims to have a unique HODL strategy, bridging the blockchain with traditional capital markets. And we just got some news in the press about them.

While the news of "Before Ethereum Merge, HIVE Blockchain Will Investigate Other Methods Of Mining Ethereum" has a resonance over the fact that crypto miners need to reorient to other PoW blockchains now that Ethereum moves to PoS, I think that it might bring also some free marketing through the HIVE overlapping branding. This article has backlinks between all these entities and should be indexed by Google and other engines which in the end should get it out there in the open and bring awareness to these "brother" ecosystems 😉

Any marketing is good marketing and we quite needed it on the Hive blockchain. I feel we are staying too quiet in our lanes, instead of taking the spotlight on any occasion. We should push more to get in front of the people, build more and expand the user base. But while waiting for this to happen, I will take any other kind of marketing that refers to or intertwines with the HIVE.io blockchain! And this news I consider it to be a lucky branding overlapping which might push some users our way simply because of that.

I usually bump into this .com before whenever I check for our Hive. I was fairly new back at the day that I go to this .com first before the .io.
It is overlapping and confusing that they (we) are both in the crypto industry. 😊

I believe that is about the company HIVE but it does get confusing for people who don't understand the difference between the two of us. It makes me wonder if there will be a pump in HIVE price due to people buying the wrong asset.
