Hive HPUD - Harnessing the power of staking while growing the crypto holdings

Time passes fast when you're having fun and where more than in crypto space you can enjoy financial freedom? With that in mind we are already on 1st of June 2023 and I think you all know what event it is: Hive Power Up Day. Beside earning symbolic badges for powering up in this day as many Hive users are doing it, we all have the opportunity to harness the power of staking while our crypto holdings are growing, both passively and actively. How? Well, by simply having Hive powered up you are earning 2.99% APR, while through curation you can push that towards 10% or more. And that besides the fact that Hive is the ingredient of everything that happens on the Hive blockchain through its governance flavor and that it has the potential to increase ten fold and maybe retrace the ATH of $3.41 from Nov 26, 2021. So much potential, while already making quick returns with a bit of effort.

For the Hive Power Up Day event from 1st of June 2023, I succeeded to gather some liquid Hive from different sources and revenue streams. Here are the springs of my liquid Hive:

• Hive blockchain gaming (Rising Star, Genesis League Goals, Terracore and Golem Overlord) - some earnings were from playing these play2earn games, while other parts came from referral bonuses.
• Content creation
• Content curation
• Engagement and other second layer tokens trading

On top of the liquid Hive that I obtained from above activities, I succeeded to gather more than 625 Hive tokens directly powered up. If on previous HPUD event I was reaching 32,179.131 HP, now my balance stands at 32,805.262 HP. Considering that I have 245.827 Hive liquid and that I am powering it all, my new balance now stands at 33,051.091 HP. While it would have been great to top up 1,000 Hive Power from my previous HPUD event (both earned powered up and liquid), I feel pretty good for my 870 Hive Power addition during one month.

I think I paid my dues with this Hive staking on the Hive Power Up Day #HPUD event and I will continue to do so in order to reach an Orca status. That means that I need to reach 56,000 Hive Power or more and it is a long way until that threshold, but it is a milestone that boosts my motivation. As more and more applications, games and infrastructure is being developed on this blockchain, the Hive token will only improve its value in time. Thus now it is a good time as ever to gather more tokens and power them up in order to earn from the inflation APR% and curation rewards.
