Leo Finance - Adding more community pages like Bitcoin is imperative

Browsing through the posts of my regular content creators, I've learned new things about different crypto projects. By doing so I can easily say what a specific creator is invested in and what is happening with a specific crypto asset and blockchain technology. One thing I also like doing is browsing through Community pages, but while doing this I've discovered that it lacks huge names starting with Bitcoin. Not sure how this was overlooked, but Bitcoin is the primordial crypto asset known widely by most people, it should be in front of the others.

Not sure about the criteria for tagging a community, but the list is somehow out of phase with the market growth and assets development. I see the "Comdex" community where there was one post 1 month ago and another 3 months ago. This simply doesn't work and shows that is low interest in such communities and it needs a makeover. Some of the community pages that I feel are missing are:

  • Bitcoin
  • Cardano
  • Solana
  • Meme Coins (Dogecoin, Shiba Inu etc.)
  • Polkadot
  • COTI

I feel there is good potential and interest to extend Communities pages and make them more relevant for the readers. Whether extending them with new communities or redesigning this functionality in a new way, surely it is a nice feature that keeps the Leo Finance reader on the site and engaged. And let's see also what the other Leo Finance readers think about it by asking a few questions.

Do you use community pages? What other communities do you think should be added to Leo Finance?

Very good point, a bitcoin community page seems like a must. I'll will try to remember to shout this out on AMA, maybe we can find a volunteer moderator.

Yeah it would be great to find some good moderators. We've got an Ethereum page right now, no Bitcoin page yet.

One big issue with commpages is that we need to have really good moderators to keep up with upvoting content for them. We'll be pushing this in 2023 as we deploy the new UI and Community Pages on it

Absolutely - One of our biggest narratives in developing the LeoFinance UI in 2023 will be better content segmentation on Hive. I think this is a huge issue for user retention and nobody has truly solved it yet

Imagine a world where you can easily and seamlessly filter in/out content that you want to and don't want to see. That's what we're aiming to build both with Community Pages and with other features like it

Sweet, that sounds amazing. These features will differentiate Leo Finance from other similar apps and put it under the spotlight with better usability. Glad to hear the plans for it!

Good points!

I've been missing the Blockchain games -community page. It would be great to find all the (Hive) games-related articles on the same page.

That's a good domain, blockchain games, whether from the Hive blockchain or even others like WAX.

Yeah, and only on Hive there are quite a few upcoming games and surely there will be lots of interesting discussions.

I would definitely put my hand up as a mod for VET and COTI community if it happens. I am sure we could drag the community off twitter into here.

Great to hear that and I am tagging @khaleelkazi as I think these are good projects to be represented and which could bring new targeted users.

I agree as discord and twitter only offers so much for a community. COTI had an account on Steem years ago and never really found a home.

I don't use the community pages because most of my time goes into going through my feed and commenting. I do think that they are useful though and that they do have value. Having more communities is always better than having fewer and there should be a way to go to the one you want.
