A Bear market is a massive opportunity wrapped in extreme fear

I spent a decent chunk of last night looking at the charts and fantasizing about better times. It was mildly depressing to see where the market currently is but that's just how things go.

My mind was constantly wandering, and playing out different scenarios. One of the scenarios I played out is a risky one and something that I don't encourage anybody to emulate.

Here's the thing, I'm panicking but like, in the opposite direction of the market. I kept thinking about how awful I'll feel when the market inevitably recovers and I didn't invest properly in any mainstream dip.

By mainstream, I'm talking about assets outside of Hive. As far as Hive is concerned, I think I'm in a solid position to reap benefits in the future but I don't feel quite confident with assets outside Hive.

For example, at the time of writing, Bitcoin is hovering between $18-19k, Ethereum is below $1k and BNB is below $200. These are just three from a host of cryptocurrencies that have immense potential.

So I keep wondering if or when I should risk it and purchase these assets. The problem is that I only invest funds that I can afford to lose and at this moment, that is a very small and insignificant amount.

Just a thought

So as I mentioned in the third paragraph, I'm panicking and my worry is that I won't capitalise on all these obviously juicy dips. Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB and a couple of other assets are in levels that they honestly should never be in.

So I was thinking, what if, for once, I trade with funds that I can't afford to lose. What if I take a risky bet with my savings?

There are no assurances in the crypto market, and the situation with UST also proves that even stables aren't the safe haven that they're portrayed to be. So, what if I Pull out a small fraction from my savings and invest in some of these dips?

This thought was eating me up the whole of last night and I thought after a good long nap, it'll go away but it's not leaving me alone. I'll hate to miss out on an opportunity that is so obvious.

Waiting for the bottom

'How I see it, the only thing that could make my purchase worthwhile is if I catch the trade somewhere close to the bottom. Sadly, it is impossible to predict where that will be because while Bitcoin is still much more valuable than in the previous bear market, it is still in a relatively new position in relation to the previous All Time High.

Some analysts have also earmarked Eth to drop to as low as $300 in this period. That sounds like such an amazing opportunity that I'd not want to miss out on.

If you've been in the crypto market long enough, you'll know that a bear market is when all the opportunities present themselves. I missed out on my first bear market back in 2018, I don't want to miss out on this one.

Watch out for the human traffickers at hivefest. You wont know it until its too late. STAY AWAY! Beware, traffickers can be women or men! They will act nice until they dont. There is human trafficking going on around this type of crypto. I have witnessed it. They literally have attempted my murder and are trying to kill me with V2K and RNM. I also don't want to miss the messive buying opportunity which will come at the end of the year like 2018. Keep stable coin with you to buy the dip because there will not any second chance.
