FOUR reasons why you should buy Chaos Legion Packs

The Chaos Legion collection in Splinterlands is the latest installment of monsters in the game. It features an array of monsters and summoners spread across different rarities and foil types.

The collection was added to the game late last year through a sale that requires vouchers. We're currently coming to the end of the second round of sales that also requires vouchers and $4 worth of credit.

Each pack contains five randomly selected Splinterlands NFTs. Each NFT can be used in battles to earn different rewards including NFTs, Credit, DEC, and SPS in some tournaments.

Unlike previous packs, each monster in this collection has smaller collection power. However, the monsters in this collection have strong abilities and will greatly improve your battle proficiency.

The special thing about the Chaos Legion pack is that it is the collection that heralds the expansion of the game. As further developments come into the game, it will become even more important to own these monsters.

In the past year, Splinterlands has evolved into a mega-company that brings value to investors. This has led to a dramatic rise in the number of players. This rise has led to more competition and increased the need to be an early bird in any possible way.

In this publication, I'll be discussing four reasons why you should be one of the early birds in purchasing Chaos Legion packs during the general sale.

Note that while about 1.8 million packs have been minted so far, you're still an early bird if you participate in the general sale on the 17th because there are about 14 million packs left.

The expansion

As mentioned on numerous occasions, the Splinterlands ecosystem is in a state of evolution. The plans to turn the game into a metaverse with more visually appealing effects are already in the works.

Investors have already bought land, totems, and different items that will be part of the future.

Chaos Legion packs also fall in the category of the future. This new set of monsters will be very popular when the game grows. This new set of cards will definitely play a part in the future, so if you have any intentions of growing your stake there as well, getting Chaos Legion packs is the sensible option.

More competition

Following the previous point, there's also a need to get ahead of the competition by grabbing as many as possible. Owning these monsters will vastly improve your proficiency in battles in the short and long term.

I recently participated in some battles at the lower end of the leagues and I find it difficult to win battles. Despite holding monsters with a collection power of 22k, I couldn't breeze my way through Bronze 2.

Most of the battles I lost were against people using Chaos Legion monsters. If this is how tough it is down here, I wonder how it is at the top.

Anyway, the point is that with the level of competition to get ahead in the game, you certainly don't want to be left behind. If your intention is to get ahead in the ranks, then adding some Chaos Legion packs and monsters is the sensible thing to do.

Airdrops for you

Holding SPlinterlands packs enable you to earn SPS tokens from the daily airdrop. SO, in essence, the more packs you hold, the more SPS you earn.

Right now, Chaos Legion packs are the cheapest of the lot but they offer the same amount of SPS points as every other pack in the game.

This means that in terms of holding for SPS airdrop, you get the most value for money from them.

On top of the SPlinterlands airdrop, there's also the fact that each pack you buy within the game qualifies you for an NFT airdrop. The airdropped NFT is often a new monster being introduced to the collection.

Resale Value

History shows that when packs go out of circulation, their value tens to rise. Considering how fast we expect Chaos Legion packs to sell out, it is safe to say that these packs are set for a bright future.

Buying packs at this value gives you the opportunity to flip them for profit at a later date. There's no time specifically for this but it is certainly going to happen.

In Summary

This collection holds a lot of promise in the short and long term. The monsters inside it can vastly improve your experience on SPlinterlands.

The packs enable you to earn different airdrops. You also get to own a piece of the future of SPlinterlands through them.

There's so much to come in the future, and with these monsters, you're pretty much cementing your chances of being a part of it.

Yeah man. But what I say, with actual prices, what is better in your opinion, spending money in the cards you want or getting packs?

Oh yeah. Well it all depends on you and how you intend to navigate the market.

Either packs or card give SPS points. However the issue is that if you buy monsters, you're certainly missing out on the legendary card airdrop.

If you're looking for specific.onsters to improve your battles though, then buying card is better.

The airdrops alone can serve as a great ROI. An investor can easily purchase packs in bulk, sell them later and keep the airdrops. If history is anything to go by, there is no way anyone is going to loose money on the long term by buying Booster Packs early and renting the cards or selling unopened packs.
