It has been a busy week: Splinterlands, Hive FPL and Rabona

BUSY WEEK.png

This has been quite a week for me and while it is stressful, I'm actually relishing the challenge. I've been striving to keep up to date on numerous fronts and so far so good, it has been good.

The earliest stress started from my exertion in Splinterlands. The change in the reward system led to a series of publications about tweaking ECR and that culminated in a finely timed coincidence of Splinterlands actually adhering to my plea two days later.

Even before the publications were published, I had already been pre-stressed by the more rewarding SPlinterlands reward system. Fighting a ton of battles to ensure I get at least ten reward chests per day has been quite the experience for me.

You will be surprised how mentally drained you can get from playing Splinterlands. Alas, I've had to slug it out every day in my main account, as well as my alt to ensure I get the most out of the season.

So far, this has easily been one of my most productive seasons ever and the numbers don't lie. However, it coincided with one of the most stressful weeks of my crypto life.

Tokenised FPL

Starting a new project is invigorating but comes with unique challenges. Combining it with an already existing project, as well as personal activities on a couple of platforms can be quite draining.

As mentioned here, I started a subcommunity in Sportstalk that will grow into a fantasy football league community.

In a short space of time, we've grown the community on both discord and Twitter, with more users expected to join in the coming weeks. Seeing as it is the off-season, it is expected that people will not be overly interested now but we've still been getting a decent turnout.

At the time of writing, the project has received support from both OCD and Sportstalk social community.

As a project, we now have a responsibility to ensure that the community is growing and gets decent organic engagement every day. This requires growing the audience organically on multiple fronts.

Speaking of multiple fronts, the Hive side has been smooth as expected but things didn't quite go as planned on Twitter. Recently, the initial Twitter account was permanently suspended and we had to create a new one.

The reason for the suspension was perhaps because I was retweeting and interacting with publications with my Belemo Twitter handle. To prevent this from happening again, I will steer completely clear of any activity that will make my main account and the @hivefpl account interact on Twitter.

For more information about this project, you can join the community on Discord, help us reach more people by reblogging, follow @hivefpl and follow us on Twitter as well.

A lot of blogging

Most of my Rabona activities have been restricted to my @arsenal4life account, as this is where I primarily publish sports-related content. It has been quite the challenge to regularly publish on numerous alts at the same time but I see it as an opportunity to improve myself.

Switching between multiple accounts and publishing regular updates keeps me on my toes. Alas, I've had to be on my toes because publishing Rabona, Hive FPl and crypto content every week, while also posting Tweets on multiple fronts, while preventing them from interacting has been challenging and fun.

Growing a community is not an easy task but it is interesting because I get to interact with a lot of people, learn new things and make new friends along the way.

At the same time, I'm earning more than usual from Splinterlands while also getting closer to reaching the League of Champions in Rabona. I'm pleased to say that it has been a busy and productive week.

You've got so much going on man.

Your drive and consistently is actually pretty inspiring, so keep pushing!

Like I said the other day, I'm really looking forward to the Hive FPL.

There is so much potential in monetising a fantasy league in this way.

Bring it on.
