The English Premier League Matchday 22 Review

The English Premier League is undoubtedly the best in the world and that is why when it comes to interesting fixtures and breathtaking results, the English Premier League has the ingredients and the spicy to make things come alive. Log leader Manchester City is certainly running away with the league this season.

Matchday 22 started so dully especially with the Friday clash between Brighton versus Crystal Palace which ended up with a 1-1 draw.
Saturday was the talking point but Manchester City edge is closer to the league with a brilliant goal from Kevin Bruyne solo goal in the last final minute against Chelsea. Newcastle United seeking their 2nd of the season could only play out 1-1 against Watford that denies Newcastle United a whole 3 points in the last minutes of the game. Norwich City on their hand secures their second win of the season when they edge Everton with a 2-1 win at home. Wolves were too strong for Southampton to handle as the match ended in the favor of the home side with an emphatic 3-1 win. Manchester United gave out to 2 goals lead to allow Aston Villa to come into the match and ended up sharing the spoil.

Sunday was scheduled for 3 games but 2 went on with proceedings and the match between Hotspur versus Arsenal was postponed. Liverpool won comfortably at Anfield despite their top players in the Africa Cup of Nations. 3-0 was the scoreline against Brentford. West Ham United suffered yet another unsurprising defeat to Leeds United. 2-3 was the final scoreline in favor of the away team.
