Things Not Has Planned

Today was crazy my wife hurt herself badly, her face and hand all mashed up after taking a face plant while she was out.

She is OK.

My wife is made of pretty tough stuff tough, she only a couple years ago broke her leg in three places and punched a hole in the knee cap.

She had to have rods, pins and a metal plate to fix the leg, after only a little while she was pushing through the pain trying to do everything for everyone.

It is just the way she is, there is absolutely no point arguing with her over it she is a mama bear so best not to poke at things too long.

Tough Times Never Last

Both me and the wife lived on the streets in our younger days for years under different circumstances, we became friends there but never got into a relationship till fate brought us together when we were in our mid twenties several years after we both got off the streets and sorted our lives out a little.

On the streets you learn to take care of yourself and this includes the need to fight others or you will become a victim in the most terrible ways you can imagine.

You have to watch your back always, from other homeless people, petty criminals, weirdos, perverts and believe it or not the general public.

Tough People Do

I will not go into it all to much here right now about the streets but least to say most people did not survive at the times we were there or if they did they may have been lucky to have got off the streets either by some miracle, rehab or prison.

Yes prison was considered an option for some people, they say it is safer than living on the streets.

Anyways some of us are still in contact with each other and we all carry issues from this time, it is what it is i suppose.

But the point is we made it we didn't just survive we surthrived.

We both came out of it my wife managed to find a place and a job eventually to get free.

While i became an entrepreneur, i started on building sites working for my lunch and some daily funds, then once i got housed i started my own window cleaning business then me and my wife Lyndsey reunited as friends that then developed into raising a family together.

4 children and 2 grand children later we are now thriving and it has not been easy but we made it.

Because of what happened today the plans are all out the window for now, gonna try my best to catch up with what i need to do on Hive but family first.

This is a quote that means a lot to me by Robert H Schuller he was an Amercan author, motivational speaker and pastor and was influential for decades.

I don't know much more about him to be honest i just like the quote.

I haven't really used Liketu much to be honest once before about 9 months ago so here goes.

I only managed to complete one of the Larry is Alive tasks today.
