Being a middle man sucks 😶(sometimes )

Namaskar / Hello to all hive users, who will reach this post. I hope you are doing great and having fun in your life and enjoying it with your loved ones.

Most of us do love to help others but sometimes we did get in trouble for that. (Not all the time for sure) 😇. we all do try our best to avoid that kind of situation but sometimes but we did fall for it and we did not even realize what we have done. The only we can do is regret it.

The only thing we can do from that type of situation is to learn from it. I do love to help others but not all the time it did not end up. so let's start the story 🙂 I hope you will learn from that or maybe not.😇

It was yesterday, I was working at my workplace.
I was out for a small break after I had my lunch with the office friends we were taking (you know the typical boy's talk 😅). Most of the time my phone is at my desk while we go out. when I returned to my desk I did notice someone has called me and I saw the messages on WhatsApp from the same number.

the number was saved but we haven't talked for years so for a moment I did try to realize who is the 😉(I am sure sometimes you did the same ). I returned the call and he said I am this person. I replied yes I know you how are you? (I was thinking what is up to why he called me all of the sudden😇).

Me: Yes I did recognize you, your number is saved on my phone.

He: oh that is great good to know how are you?

we dod talked for a bit about some general things:

He: I have some work done, I am sure you can do it.

Me: (what he what from me) yes sure what is the work, let me know first!

He: yes sure why not, I am planning to make a website most of the thing is done but I need a logo for my website I am sure you can help me with that.

Me: oh that is really good congrats, but sorry I can't help you on that I am not a designer(I am but both are different 😅)

He: Oh I thought can do it, ok.
Me: I can ask my friends for the work I am sure your logo work will be done.
He: ok sure that is great can you get it done by tomorrow. I want to live my website ASAP.
Me: ok sure, I will ask them in the evening and let you know.

I did ping my few friends you are in the profession but most of them were busy two of them did reply to me. One did agree to the work. I asked him how much he will change for that?
he asked if I will take 1200 INR. I replied ok sure thanks.
(after that he called me and we talked for hours 😅)

I pinged him that I did get a person for your logo and will be done by tomorrow (that is today). He did not reply and he did reply late at night and said this is very expensive I was expecting 500-600 INR for that.

My friend agreed to 700 INR (it was his last deal)
I did ping him back but he didn't reply back last night.

My friend is agreed to 700 INR and I will give you your logo by tomorrow evening and I will pay the 100 INR you have to pay only 600 INR. I have made a deal I am not going to break out now, the rest is up to you. (This was my last message to him).

Today he did call me, but I did not pick up his call 😕

I called him back in the evening and guess what he said I did hire someone for that job 😶, no need to make that logo.
I replied really then why did you ask me for that in the first place?

That time one thing came to my mind why I agreed with that, I just want to help him.
I haven't pined my friend yet but will buy the logo for myself he did invest his time on that for sure. I don't want to make him unhappy about that, We have to do a lot of things together.
I hope things will be settled smoothly 🙃
