Don't waste water💧💦, use it wisely

Our scriptures have been warning that water is life. Every drop of it is valuable. But we are that we do not understand its value. How groundwater is being exploited. As a result of that, where earlier water was available at forty-fifty feet, today it is getting 150 to two hundred feet below.

water is the basic need for all of us and we all need water in our daily life as well.
But we should sure use that wisely we have to save that for our upcoming future generation too.
we should all learn the importance of water and try to use the minimum amount of water we can use.

Once Kanu Gandhi and Kanti Gandhi were washing utensils sitting near the well of the ashram in Maganwadi. While doing this, they were also talking to each other. Both were using excessive water in washing dishes. At that time Mahatma Gandhi passed by. He was saddened to see the water being wasted like this. He stopped and said to Kanti - Look, how much water are you wasting? How much water should it take to wash so many dishes? Till now you have not even learned how to wash utensils in the ashram? Kanti replied- Bapu, we are washing the utensils by drawing water from the well. There is a lot of water in the well. Hearing this, Gandhiji said - It is true that the well is full of water and you are filling it with your hard work and spending indiscriminately, but do you know every drop of water is valuable. Don't forget, we are living here to serve the nation. Is it okay for you to wastewater and your energy like this? not at all! Keep both of them safe for the service of the country.

Saying this, Bapu did not leave from there, but by sitting there, he taught him how to wash utensils by spending the minimum amount of water.
