In Nigeria now, the only way to survive financially is to work out of the system.
A lot of people do not know this. The funny thing is most students feel their course of study will give them the perfect job in Nigeria.
Medical student feel so proud thinking that they have a good course that can give them a job but the reality is the jobs for doctors are stupid.
I really do not like to talk about the naira dollar system because I get angry at the situation.
The sad part is a lot of people don't even rate the dollar. Like they are clueless about saving in dollars.
Business in textbook is smooth but when the reality kicks in, this is when we'd begin to understand how difficult it is

I don't ever look at houses online, they can tilt me into depression.
I see prices that sometimes I wonder if a job in Nigeria can give me that luxury.
Even if I work in an oil company, it will still stress me to pay 60 million naira for a house.
Compounding is difficult when people keep one job that takes their time making it difficult to offer their productivity as a side hustle.
I was talking to a friend who was telling me she was going to do 3 jobs to meet up with the needs of her family.
Working in 3 hospitals can kill your body.
I recently decided not to take a job because I wanted to work on my side hustles, it looks extreme but I need time flexibility to become rich.
So I decided to take cover jobs when they are available and focus on doing exams and my side stuff.
I will take up a job next year.
This is a beautiful post. I hope Nigerians wake up. But the sad part of it is most people are caged by the mentality of a job even if it is low paying.
Hahaha, I understand what you mean bro, in reality, medical students pride themselves as tbe epicenter nof elite professionals in the country and rightly so too, but then, this is Nigeria, value is not given on degrees and profession and this is why everyone should actually think out of the job, getting a side hustle no matter how poor it seems can come in handy. Back in the days I use to write contents for blogs for 3k a week, I did it diligently no matter how crazy it seems.
We just have to understand that it's essential.

I think everywhere, the job mentality cannot make you filthy rich.
A neurosurgeon earns 700k annually but he can't comfortably buy a house..
It will shake his account
But Dan will buy 5 houses and it won't affect him that much
700k annually for 10 years cannot even build him a house in the suburbs of Ogun State not to talk of Lagos.
