These Apps and Technologies Are Better Than Their More Popular Competitors!

Lately, I've been putting my Hive tribalism to the side and posting a lot more about other chains and tools. Some of them aren't the most popular but they are things that work for me at this moment in time.

Is tribalism protecting me from scams or preventing me from using amazing tools?

I do understand tribalism in web3. It's a lot easier to find pointless projects than it is to find projects with any utility. When you find a project with utility that you like it's precious. You want to spend time with that project and you feel like everyone else in the world should share the same passion for that project.

But at what point does that love for a good thing stunt your growth? Are you not afraid to use tools on other blockchains for fear of being scammed? Are you refusing to use an app because it's not on-chain or decentralized? Are you afraid the learning curve for this new tech might be too great or take too long?

Believe me, if anybody understands these concerns, it's me. These can be scary waters to navigate, but you'll get better with experience. And for myself, in most cases, the reward of finding tools that work for me has outweighed the risk of damage.

Why Miss Out on The Best Tech For Me Because It Is The Most Popular?

I feel like:

• Wax offers a better experience than Solana
• Hive has more utility for everyday people than EVM Chains
• Telegram is a better application than Discord

These might be unpopular opinions but they're my truth and What works for me. A lot of the "Experts" will tell you that the other tools are the only ball game in town but, it's so not true...

A lot of times their expert advice is determined by how much someone is willing to pay them to deliver the message. I feel like experience puts you in front of a different set of tools than the mainstream crypto set of tools.

Some of the top projects in crypto aren't in the top 200. Finding new things to enjoy takes some serious digging, networking, and being open to trying new things, but it's defiantly worth it in the end.
