GT won Low scoring match with big margin against LSG and becomes first team to enter in Playoffs
Hello, Good afternoon to all and welcome to my page once against. It's very hot day here as sun throwing heat at is the best level, but there was a great match yesterday in this kind of heat too where GT won the match and became first team to enter in playoffs. It was a low scoring match but GT won it with huge margin, and it will help them to increase NRR. Likewise, it's time to discuss GT vs LSG match in details, so let start it.
GT has won the toss and chose to bat first which is good decision according to me, as sure some peoples think it's wrong, but it's good one. Pune's pitch mostly favor fast bowling and LSG did good in that section where they have good pace bowling attack and one of best too. They got early wickets of Shah and Wade in power play and Hardik also out early as his poor form continue.
GT did slow start and kept playing around 6 RPO till 12-13 overs as Gill was in good touch but not able to accelerate inning in middle over even he was there since first over. Miller was to look in good touch but out too and then Tewatia and Gill made a nice partnership and took the team total to 144, but they lost only 4 wickets, so it looks not a good total even with wickets in hand.
In this small run chase, They started slow start as thought let see some overs and then attack also look like LSG will do it comfortably, but they also lost early wicket of De Kock and Rahul which boost energy of GT. Hooda once again looks in good touch too as scoring runs from the other hand it was collapse going on.
Ayush Badoni and Deepak looks they will do something, but they can't as one after one they lost all wickets as they are not able to cross even 100 as they all out on just 82 runs in 14th over. Once against Stonis, Holder not able to play innings in middle over and Rashid did rest thing as took 4 wickets and Sai Kishore took 2 wickets. Gill got man of the match for 63 runs and GT entered in Playoffs. That's it from me for today, and stay tuned for the next post.
