These Headlines Bring Me Joy

This is more of a light hearted post today in which I want to go over a bit of the history of crypto and some of the recent headlines I enjoy reading lately. Not because it's crypto related but instead more so to show the power of the crypto community and how we are a community for deactualization and restore power back to people instead of companies and governments really are making a difference.

The Start

Crypto Bitcoin was born out of the recession of 2007- 2009 recession in which all of your tax money and hard earned profits vanished because of banks and bad actors in the game. We quickly realized that government was now run by corporations and no one cared about your money and savings anymore. They would simply print more money and tax you more giving it to mega corps while they leave you with nothing. This semi kind of changed during the depression we are currently in however the checks we the people got are laughable. At least some money was returned to it's citizens and well I have to say it did far better then giving it to greed corps who just cut themselves a check and retired on millions on tax payer money.

From that was born a crypto and a idea. An idea that is still with us here today and at the core of it those with the most money still fight for. That being this statement from Bitcoin Whitepaper.

Now those are powerful and true words and clearly shows us the direction we were headed and continue to try and head.

The Headlines

Today I saw a headline that Facebook was no longer banning crypto type ads. I swear this is just a repeat of everything that goes against crypto and guess what. CRYPTO ALWAYS WINS!

Remember when China banned bitcoin back in 2017 but really everyone just kept mining the heck out of it anyways.

Remember when the SEC and a number of figure heads said bitcoin and crypto in general are scams? Where do we stand today? Those companies now adopting crypto and changing their tune otherwise they would have been crushed!

Remember when governments tried to tax crypto in weird ways to make it not only more confusing but to track and try and take control of it? Crypto fought back and continues to fight back. If our elected officials wont stand up and make change well guess what. Bitcoins white paper in action again as bitcoin and a number of other blockchains are adopting higher anonymity and giving people their privacy and power back.

Back to the Facebook allowing crypto ads again. Just proves this point. Facebook has been dying off and even them talking about launching their own metaverse and meta rebrand have been laughable. What it show us is people are tired of the BS and Crypto and decentralization is the future.

Conclusion

This continued push back and fight for freedoms from people in crypto is exactly what this world needs right now. Every day since 2001 we USA citizens and I'm sure many other countries continued to lose our freedoms in particular privacy. As companies continued to data leak everything on us and us it against us crypto fought back to restore those privacy and rights.

This is one of the core reason I support crypto and now work in it full time. Is it yours?

I have a feeling that every time when some "officials" open their mouths and try to "FIX" the economy, the crypto gets a huge push as they have no idea what they are doing... People didn't realize that before, but slowly, the truth comes to the surface...
I know that it's still very early to talk about the victory and most of us here in crypto are still just a minority, but it's good to be on the "good side" of the story... ;)

I have picked this post on behalf of the @OurPick project and it will be highlighted in the next post!

It is good to see that crypto is becoming more mainstream. Before long, Hive will also be in everyone's conversations.

On a different topic, I noticed you use the ASH tag. Has it been changed to just a blogging token? Do you know the focus of that community if it is no longer CryptoBrewMaster?

This is great! Basically reinforces that if you fight technology you're not gonna win and people will find a way to keep their privacy and freedom.
