UniSwap Sets Sights To Expand

Admittedly I personally don't use Uniswap much unless I have to. For the most part I stay off of DeFi that's on Ethereum because of those nasty fees that come with it all. However that means the big boys play in this area and we can see that through the huge amount of transactions that take place on Ethereum compared to any of the other DeFi applications such as Binance and Polygon.

Uniswaps Transaction Volume

Pull Data from DeFi Lilama we can see that Uniswap is at the top for DEXs at 60% giving it a massive 1.22 billion dollars worth of 24 hour transaction volume. Even at it's lowest fee marker of just 0.01% it means that in the last 24 hours the amount of money generate from fees was $122,000 but granted fees where most likely on average around 0.05% but fees on Uniswap can go from 0.01% to 1% which goes to show you they most likely made around a cool million dollars in fees in just 24 hours.

Next Moves

To me this next phase just doesn't seem like a good idea at all. You're crushing it in DEX so why expand it into areas in which the SEC and government continue to attack and start putting everything at risk?

Uniswaps COO Mary-Cathreine Lader in a recent interview said the company is now eying up several new products to continue to grow the exchange's market share.

One of those such products they are looking into is the NFT space that as much as people want to say it's dead is very much so alive and booming. It's hinted that some time this year you will be able to use UniSwap to be able to buy and sell NFTs on Opensea and a number of different marketplaces.

The next move we have an idea on is what is known at the Diamond Project and Genie acquisition. Diamond is set to take the marketshare away from coinbase pro by offering up a Uniswap Diamond program with pro traders and liquidity providers in mind.

Perhaps Uniswap is a great buy right now for end of year gains? What are your thoughts on these recent moves from Uniswap?

sure does kind of crazy right for the decentralized platform But that goes to show you there has to be centralization in terms of development otherwise nothing gets done. Take a look at hive lol
