DRIP Network Funding My Splinterland's Habit.

Back in November I purchased some magic beans after reading up on a fairly cool project called the DRIP network. Each DRIP was worth $50 at the time so I purchased 6 of them for $300. The idea of DRIP is that you buy a certain amount of DRIP and insert into a Faucet. Never to be seen again. It's gone and not coming back. But the trick is it gives you back 1% per day in interest on your principle. You can claim the 1% or recompound. Recompounding adds to your overall DRIP and each day you grow your bags.
So after 6 months of only recompounding and not claiming I decided in July I was going to claim for a month. I made it to 115 DRIP and I thought it was time to take something back as I earn 1.15 DRIP per day which comes to around €8. So over the month and a bit this adds up to €300 which is my original investment I put in. So with my costs covered, I am pretty much making $8 a day. Now this is DRIP on its floor. It reached a peak of $300 at one point. I bloody wish I had the 115 DRIP back then. There will come a point where it will increase again but at the moment I am quite happy claiming for another month.

So above is the current price of DRIP. Probably his lowest price. $7.13. Below is my holdings. 115 DRIP. 6 months of recompounding. It wil only take me 72 more days to get to 200 with the magic of recompounding so I may start recompounding again soon.

I then go to pancake swap and swap the DRIP for good old DEC. We are talking about 11,000 DEC here. Not to be sniffed at for buying a few chaos legion and building up my deck.

Last step is to transfer it into Splinterlands.

And there we have it. 9,000 DEC each day going into Splinterlands. ROI from DRIP after 6 months is 100% and now it is just guaranteed profit going forward. Hopefully this will get me back to the higher leagues where I started out back in 2018.

With the node validator I purchased giving me back 6 Vouchers and 30 SPS per day now this amounts to around $6 per day. This is not to be sniffed at. SPS is still at only 7 cent so this again will only increase.

Finally my crypto is looking after itself. I made a pact to not put in another cent in crypto in 2020 but the future looks bright that the current investments are paying for themselves.

So the future is looking pretty where Splinterlands is concerned.
