Reason For Being Here
I will like to discuss a topic with us that will be quite interesting and entertaining which is Technology .
The lives we live today are much easier than the lives of people in the nineteenth century. There are a lot of things we use today that make our lives and things easy. Technology help us to work better, faster and quick in our homes, offices, schools etc.
Technology in our homes
Technology has made many things possible in our homes today. In our great and grandfather's days, there was nothing like electricity or even technology. So instead they use candle for seeing in the dark.
So we can see there is different between the two
In the past there was nothing like blenders, irons, phones, gas cookers, television etc instead only they use grinding stone, charcoal irons, they send messages through letters, they use firewood, and so on.
There is also different between them
Technology in school
In schools, we use pens and biros to write on paper while markers on board. But then in the past, people write with chalk or bird feathers dipped in ink, which are called quill pens.
Today, computers are used in schools to teach and to learn in most of the advanced schools. The internet has made it easy to access information from all over the world.
Technology in our communities
Technology has been a great benefits to us even in our communities. In the aspect of when water comes out from the tap, modern toilets, transportations(cars, aeroplane, motorcycles etc?).
In the past, there are nothing like what i mentioned above. Then you just have to go to the stream to get water, there was nothing like car then, just horses, trekking and so on.
We can see that technology has really make impact in our lives. It has also make our lives easier and comfortable. Without technology, our lives we will be not meaningful and it will also be lifeless.
