I'm not understanding this downvote business just because somebody thought you made too much. Let alone what happened to me where they took the whole post value and left no comment about why. At least you had a reason given. But yeah, look at trending.
And engagement with the post means people actually read it and felt it worth commenting on - not just some autovote - actual eyes on.

There are still a few old whales here that haven't quite grasped that quality is purely subjective and in the eye of the beholder and like @shadowspub says: "It's all about community." You have your suck ups that will go comment on a trending post so they 'can be seen', and then you have your loyal friends and fam that visit you fairly regularly and really don't care what you post - they're just happy to see you. They'll still comment and sometimes ask about something that had nothing to do with the post itself spawning a whole new thread on that post. Community. Gotta love it.
I've got my family and favs on my autovote in case I miss a post but when I hit my threshold I may miss some. I'd rather read them in person though as time permits. It's all about the fam!
Same here and I even monitor what gets voted, I don't always comment, but it's a real time saver knowing that since I can't be here 24/7 and there is no set time for people to post, I love the autovoters.
edit: think I even added your husband recently but he only posts like once a week and I never know when exactly so don't wanna miss it. He does cool cartoons :P
Aww that's cool that you put @crypt-skip on your voting trail and he said thanks for the compliment as well. I really hope we get to do a live block party in 2022 so we can all meet and hang out!
