Hola chicos espero se encuentren muy bien, el día de hoy se me dio por cocinar una rica receta que siempre nos hacía mi mamá para algunos almuerzos especiales, pero quise modificarla un poco. Se trata de bolitas de papa rellenas de queso, por aquí les comparto los pasos, espero les guste ⬇️

Ingredientes :

  • Papas.
  • Harina de trigo.
  • Queso.
  • Sal.
  • Oregano.
  • Pan rallado.
  • Huevo.
  • Leche.
  • Aceite.

  • Cheese.
  • Salt.
  • Oregano.
  • Bread crumbs.
  • Egg.
  • Milk.

Preparación

Paso 1️⃣
Pelamos nuestras papas y lavamos muy bien, cortamos en cubitos pequeños para que ablanden más rápido y ponemos a hervirlas en agua de 25 a 30 minutos.

We peel our potatoes and wash them very well, cut into small cubes so that they soften faster and put them to boil in water for 25 to 30 minutes.

Paso 2️⃣
Mientras nuestras papas van hirviendo, vamos a ir rallando el queso y el pan.

Paso 3️⃣
Cuando ya hayan transcurrido los 25 minutos chequeamos que las papas no estén duras, y escurrimos el agua. Con ayuda de un tenedor vamos a aplastarlas hasta hacerlas puré, agregamos dos cucharadas de harina de trigo, orégano y una pizca de Sal, mezclamos.

Step 3️⃣
When the 25 minutes have elapsed, check that the potatoes are not hard, and drain the water. With the help of a fork we are going to crush them until they are mashed, add two tablespoons of wheat flour, oregano and a pinch of salt, mix.

Paso4️⃣
Tomamos un poco del puré de papas y lo vamos convirtiendo en bolita con nuestras manos (Un tip para que no se quede pegado en la palma de las manos es humedecerlas cada tanto con un poco de agua), le hacemos un espacio en la mitad con nuestros dedos y agregamos el queso, las iremos cerrando desde las esquinas y luego volvemos a hacerlas bolitas para que quedan bien selladas, dejamos reposar en la nevera por 15 minutos.

Paso 5️⃣
Mientras nuestras bolitas de papa están en la nevera vamos a ir preparando la mezcla para empanizarlas. En un bold agregamos un huevo, una taza pequeña de leche, tres cucharadas de harina y revolvemos hasta que quede una mezcla espesa.

Step 5️⃣
While our potato balls are in the fridge we are going to prepare the mixture to bread them. In a bold add an egg, a small cup of milk, three tablespoons of flour and stir until it is a thick mixture.

Paso 6️⃣
Sacamos nuestras bolitas de la nevera, pasamos por la mezcla y luego por el pan rallado, las llevamos al caldero con aceite bien caliente y dejamos que doren por ambos lados, una vez estén listas sacamos del caldero y dejamos escurrir.

Step 6️⃣
We take our balls out of the fridge, we pass through the mixture and then through the breadcrumbs, we take them to the pan with very hot oil and let them brown on both sides, once they are ready we take them out of the pan and let them drain.

Y así quedaron nuestras bolitas de papa rellenas de queso, listas para servir. Quedaron demasiado ricas, me hubiese gustado que el queso se derritiera más. Así que la proxima vez intentaré con queso mozzarella, pero no se puede negar que tenían una combinación de crujiente por fuera, suavecitas por dentro y un sabor increíble.

A mí me funcionaron para acompañar el almuerzo del día de hoy, arroz, atún y nuestras deliciosas papas rellenas con queso. Tú puedes prepararlas como snacks para tus reuniones, acompañar tus cenas, almuerzos y demás.

And that's how our cheese stuffed potato balls turned out, ready to serve. They were too rich, I would have liked the cheese to melt more. So next time I will try with mozzarella cheese, but there is no denying that they had a combination of crunchy outside, soft inside and an incredible flavor.

They worked for me to accompany today's lunch, rice, tuna and our delicious cheese stuffed potatoes. You can prepare them as snacks for your meetings, to go with your dinners, lunches and so on.
