Les cuento que el día de ayer estaba hablando con una amiga y el tema de un momento a otro paso a ser sobre los platos típicos de Colombia y nuestras comidas favoritas, me gusto tanto el tema que decidí hacer un post sobre esto. Realmente fue super difícil escoger entre tantos platos que me encantan ya que amo la comida jaja. Pero bueno, después de tanto hacer mi lista por aquí se las comparto ⬇️.

I tell you that yesterday I was talking with a friend and the topic from one moment to another happened to be about the typical dishes of Colombia and our favorite foods, I liked the topic so much that I decided to make a post about it. It was really hard to choose between so many dishes that I love since I love food haha. But well, after so much making my list here I share it with you ⬇️.

Empanadas horneadas rellenas.

No podía falta este delicioso pasaboca, las empanadas me gustan sean horneadas o fritas. Pero estas en especial de Panzerotti me parecen demasiado ricas, la masa se siente super suavecita y la variedad de relleno que tienen es de otro mundo. Me gusta acompañarlas con un frappe de Maracuyá.

Stuffed baked empanadas.

I couldn't miss this delicious snack, I love empanadas whether baked or fried. But these especially Panzerotti's are too rich, the dough feels super soft and the variety of fillings they have is out of this world. I like to accompany them with a passion fruit frappe.

Chicharrones.

Con este plato tengo varios recuerdos, uno de ellos es cuando viajaba a Sincelejo y siempre nos deteníamos en un pueblito a comer chicharrón con limoncito y bollo, una delicia. Lo mejor de todo es cuando esta jugoso y blandito.

Carne asada con papitas fritas.

Amo amo las papitas fritas, creo que Mc Donald's se gana el primer puesto con sus papitas jaja. Pero me encanta comerlas con asados y demás, siempre serán un buen acompañante. En este caso nada mejor que comer arroz, carne asada y de acompañante unas ricas papitas. Este plato suele llamarse ''Corriente'' en Colombia y en los restaurantes lo sirven con sopa también.

I love french fries, I think McDonald's wins the first place with their fries haha. But I love to eat them with roasts and so on, they will always be a good companion. In this case there is nothing better than eating rice, roasted meat and some delicious fries as a side dish. This dish is usually called ''Corriente'' in Colombia and in restaurants they serve it with soup as well.

Si bien es cierto, últimamente he probado bastante el sushi y me ha encantado es por eso que ya hace parte de mi lista jaja. Hablando de gustos, mi favorito es el tempurizado.

Mote de queso.

Este plato lo alcancé a probar en Sincelejo- Sucre, pensé que no me iba a gustar ya que es sopa con queso, yuca y ñame, pensaba ''Queso en una sopa debe saber raro'' pero una vez lo probé me terminó encantando, hay personas que les gusta cocinarlo con pedacitos de chicharrón y si la hacen en leña es lo mejor del mundo.

I tasted this dish in Sincelejo- Sucre, I thought I was not going to like it since it is soup with cheese, yucca and yam, I thought ''Cheese in a soup must taste weird'' but once I tried it I ended up loving it, there are people who like to cook it with bits of chicharron and if they make it in firewood it is the best thing in the world.

Nachos guadalupe.

Se trata de un plato mexicano, contiene nachos, guacamole, pico de gallo, carne molida, pollo, queso cheddar, salsa ranchera y frijoles (Personalmente me gustan más sin frijoles) Si estas en Colombia lo puedes encontrar en el restaurante Benito Juárez. Es demasiado rico, me gusta combinarlo con una limonada de coco, para mí las de este lugar son las mejores.

Nachos guadalupe.

This is a Mexican dish, it contains nachos, guacamole, pico de gallo, ground beef, chicken, cheddar cheese, ranchero sauce and beans (Personally I like them better without beans) If you are in Colombia you can find it at Benito Juarez restaurant. It is too rich, I like to combine it with a coconut lemonade, for me the ones from this place are the best.

Hamburguesa de carne.

Este plato me recuerda a mi papá, cuando quiere invitarnos a comer alguna comida rápida nos pide hamburguesas o pizza, o un fin de semana que toma de descanso le encanta prepararnos hamburguesas caseras lo hace con tanto amor y dedicación que para mí le quedan demasiado ricas y son las mejores. Hay gente que le gusta comer de pollo pero, mi favorita es la de carne.

This dish reminds me of my dad, when he wants to invite us to eat some fast food he asks us for burgers or pizza, or a weekend he takes a break he loves to prepare us homemade burgers he does it with so much love and dedication that for me they are too rich and they are the best. Some people like to eat chicken, but my favorite is beef.

Arroz de coco con pescado y patacones.

Si vas a la playa no puedes perderte de probar este manjar, es mi plato favorito un domingo familiar donde vayamos a la playa o donde queramos compartir un almuerzo juntos, Arrocito de coco, pescado frito, ensalada de aguacate y patacones, por supuesto no puede faltar la Coca-cola como acompañante.

If you go to the beach you can not miss to try this delicacy, it is my favorite dish on a family Sunday where we go to the beach or where we want to share a lunch together, Coconut rice, fried fish, avocado salad and patacones, of course you can not miss the Coca-cola as an accompaniment.

Sopa de costilla.

La sopa de costilla me recuerda mucho a mi infancia cuando los domingos por la tarde salíamos con mi familia a almorzar a un restaurante. Por lo general siempre la pedía, me gustan mucho las sopas sea de costilla, Ajiaco (está es mi segunda favorita), guandul, de panza, todas la verdad.

The rib soup reminds me a lot of my childhood when on Sunday afternoons we would go out with my family to have lunch at a restaurant. I usually always ordered it, I really like soups be it rib, Ajiaco (this is my second favorite), guandul, belly soup, all of them really.

Crepes de boloñesa y queso.

Este es mi plato favorito, me encanta la pasta en todas sus presentaciones y con todos los acompañantes, sea carne, pollo, queso, etc. Lastimosamente no la he probado con camarones por ser alérgica pero presiento que serían exquisitas. Este plato lo descubrí en un restaurante de Colombia, el nombre del lugar es Crepes & Wafles.

This is my favorite dish, I love pasta in all its presentations and with all the accompaniments, be it beef, chicken, cheese, etc. Unfortunately I haven't tried it with shrimp because I'm allergic to it, but I have a feeling it would be delicious. I discovered this dish in a restaurant in Colombia, the name of the place is Crepes & Wafles.
