Record sales at Monterey Car week

I’ve been told countless times that a car is a bad investment and I totally agree with their reasons. Just imagine the painstaking amount for maintenance and all. Monterey car week held in Monterey, California in August of every year makes that thought invalid. You’d actually be amazed that a whole lot of us, lovers of the automobile don’t put that into context, the constant thrill just to stare at that beautiful piece of contraption is just enough.

Friday, the busiest day at the auction sale that recorded total sales of $210.2 million compared to 2019 total sales of $139.1 million. Covid-19 restrictions set off 2020 with car collectors all set up to make a steal before whatever might lie ahead unleashes. The auction sales was conducted for customers in person and online also. Gooding & company sold the revolutionary three seater sport car, a 1995 McLaren F1 for a record $20,465,000 with some second over, RM Sotheby’s sold a 1962 Ferrari 268 SP Spider for $7,705,000.
