Focusing on what's important

Today is one of those days were you really need to just take a step back and focus on what the important things are in life. I was out of state watching my nieces play softball at a tournament this past weekend. I had my smart phone, but for all intents and purposes, I was basically cut off from the blockchain.

Granted, it was more out of choice than it was out of lack of service. In fact, when we got home late yesterday, I didn't even bother to open my Chromebook to check in on some of my accounts. I figured they would still be here on Monday morning and there was no rush.

I am finally getting myself settled in this morning for the long game of catchup that I am going to need to play. It is going to be a ball busting morning for sure. I will be honest, I was a bit dismayed when I finally opened the Cub DeFi page and realized the price of CUB had dropped down to the low $.60 range.

Not a great thing to welcome me first thing on Monday morning....

Then I got thinking about it and realized, what can you do? Really, nothing. Sure, you can shift some assets around maybe, but that could put you in a worse position than you are now. The fact is, there isn't anything I could have done this weekend to impact anything that is happening with the markets.

What is important is that I spent some quality time with my family away from the burdens of candles and corrections. I got to watch some really awesome softball and my older nieces team actually went undefeated to win the whole tournament. It was pretty epic. Eight games, eight wins.

I got to see my younger niece hit a grand slam home run. You can't trade that for anything.

Prices are down, that will happen. Prices will go up, that happens too...

Today, I am going to try and put all of that to the side and focus on all of the great memories I have from the past weekend. In the grand scheme of things, it all seems pretty insignificant compared to that!

You are right when It's time price will still rise and at the same time it fall when it's time also, but shifting time to enjoy and focus on family is Paramount because in everything family always comes first so I think at this point you are doing the right thing, it good that you free yourself from the prices and the all the rest and have a nice time home, with your Nice also watching them play because you wouldn't know watching them play, score and defeat their oponent means a lot to them.

Thanks, yeah, there is so much noise in the world lately. Sometimes it is a great idea to just tune it all out!

A day or two off the block chain won't really change too much if you aren't a day trader. Take a few days off if you need to since I think its good for you. As for the market prices, up and down don't matter too much in the long term view.

I 100% agree with you, not missing too much here and life is too short to stare at a stupid ticker!

I think the prices will go sideways with oscillation for a while. So, check back in another month or so.
