Listnerds Tips, Questions, and Answers

I've been using Listnerds for a couple of months now to supplement the activity that I am doing on Hive. It has proven to be a great tool to drive views and engagement to my posts.

As I mentioned in another post, there is a multi-level marketing aspect to Listnerds. Well, only if you want there to be. You can use the platform without adding any downstream members and be just fine. You can also share your referral code and try to add on some down stream users to mentor and support while you earn a little something from their efforts.

I haven't really focused too much on that aspect, but I have been getting some questions from potential downstream users, so I thought I would answer one or two of those.

The most recent question had to do with my statement about the Enterprise subscription allowing me to reach 5000 people I wouldn't have been able to with Listnerds.

They had a hard time believing that was true.

If you look at the "bonus prospects" portion of the chart above, you will see that under the enterprise tier, you are getting 5000 bonus prospects. Probably the easiest way to see this would be to look at the difference between sending a Listnerds mail with a free account and sending one from one of the higher tiers.

Take a look at the chart above and you can see the clear difference between when I was using the free version of the platform and when I upgraded to the premium tier. I went from reaching maybe 80 new people with my mails to suddenly reaching over 1000.

You can also see how my votes suddenly increased. I went from getting scores in the single digits to getting scores close to that "20" threshold that allows you to earn Listnerds tokens.

My "open" and "click" numbers also increased by a substantial amount. Multiply that by 5 and you will get an idea of how beneficial it can be to pay for some of the higher tiers like business and enterprise.

Since Listnerds is all about sharing links to your content (hopefully Hive content), it is important to share those links properly and make the experiences as pleasant for your visitors as possible.

One of the ways I try to do that is by adjusting this small setting above that many people might overlook. You can see that when you share a link you have the option to open the link in the current window or a new window (tab).

I always choose new window. You see, when people are going through the mails in their Listnerds mailbox, there are often a large number of emails to get through. It can get tedious to hit the back button after reading each email and following the link. By opening the link in a new window, you allow users to not have to navigate away from their Listnerds inbox.

It is a small thing that can save a lot of time productivity-wise. Keep that setting in mind the next time you are writing up a mail.

Was that enough to pique your interest? If it was, you can use my referral link here and get signed up for Listnerds. Make sure you use the Hive Keychain method to login. It will make things more enjoyable for you, I promise.

Hi @bozz I actually got to this post using a listnerds. My question is would you see an increase in your post rewards on Hive seeing you are reaching more people. Interesting concept but I don't think I would be willing to subscribe quite yet until I use it for a month or two but above post is interesting as you are the first person that I know that has subscribed to membership

I think it is bringing more people to my posts for sure. I am not going to lie and say any of them are whales, but they could be one day. Building that relationship now could be huge. I am pulling in about 200 to 300 Listnerds tokens per day right now sending out the two emails that the Enterprise level allows me to. If the price of Listnerds holds compared to Hive, that is about 375 Hive per day. More than enough to cover the cost of my subscription and grow my account. Of course I am staking the majority of those LN tokens so I can build my stake on the platform. I think the growth to my Hive account as well is going to be pretty substantial though.

wow 200 - 300 listnerds per day is pretty awesome. What is it ? Around 1 Hive. Very interesting. At the moment i'm slumming it building up my mail but I might relook at this.

I think there is a buy order right now for 1.5 Hive, but there is also some indication it could be as high as 2 Hive per 1 Listnerd.

Interesting, there is one mail where you have 20 upvotes but the mail is not considered verified. Good that you get the listnerd tokens for that mail tho.

If you look to the right of that one, I did earn some Listnerds tokens from it though. I have a feeling it is just a glitch in the interface. The rough ones are when you have 20 upvotes, but one or two downvotes and it brings your total score below 20!

@bozz - it's great to see your journey on **ListNerds **, but more importantly; how you break things down with your posts; which is to the point with concrete action and results.

Thanks! I appreciate that! I think we all know there is a lot of crap out there, but Listnerds is one of the gems. I don't want people to have any misunderstandings, it takes hard work, but it will be worth it. There is no magic marketing wand (though LN is pretty close) :)

I think Listnerds is a great tool to promote your posts and building a reader base is never a bad thing. On the other hand, I have been neglecting Listnerds for the past week and I hope to get everything else sorted out so I can at least go through my Listnerds mail each day (huge backlog).

I hear you there. The volume of mails that are coming in there is just insane. I think that is why a lot of people shy away from it. I have seen some people who didn't realize it was a separate mailbox and they thought all of those mails were going to be coming into their actual email account!

Yea I haven't touched it in a week and I dread trying to go through a week's worth of mail right now.

I found this post on ListNerds. So we know it works. There is a big difference in the amount of people you can reach than if you're on the free version. You're learning the ropes pretty well after only a couple of months. Thanks for sharing your progress.

This look so good to be true, I will wait for another 6 month to see if system stabilizes. (In other words shelling $97 per month is not in my list currently.)
