February GameFi Goals

It's a bit early for my monthly gamefi update since it's still January but hey, it's a long month and I couldn't wait to share my progress!

This time I've left out Splinterlands since there haven't been any major changes although I'm thinking about investing in SPS again. If I'll go through with this plan I'll add it to my March report.

In this update, however, I will be adding two new games - Stardom and Crypto Company.

But first, let's check out how I did with the other ones:

WOO

My two main sources of earning the native token of the upcoming game Wrestling Organization Online, are staking WOO and delegating HP.

• About a week ago I raised my HP delegation to 300 and the next day the delegation's APR was raised to 25%. Meanwhile, the staking APR has dropped a bit.
• I'm also staking one WOO Rewards Pack I got from this Secret Santa event. By doing so I'm getting a small daily airdrop of ~6.5 WOO.

GOALS & PROGRESS

With WOO I haven't made any sales and it has been stacking up nicely even though the price is declining steadily. This is understandable because there is so much supply and less demand.

I'm in it for the long play and patiently waiting for the next milestones such as the land sale and the actual game launch hoping to see an increase in demand.

My 100k goal by the end of 2023 could very well be reached sooner or I might have to adjust it if I decide to invest in the game items later on.

dCITY

In my previous update, I wrote:

Even though I haven't been really active on playing dCity recently, I have been accumulating SIM tokens every once in a while.

Well, now things are completely the opposite - I got pretty excited about the building part after reading a comprehensive guide on how to get started.

This led me to invest in buildings in order to get my city to produce new citizen cards which I could then sell for SIM. So basically, my focus has shifted from holding SIM and getting small HIVE drips to getting the city to produce SIM on regular basis.

Also, a big thanks to @forexbrokr who just a while ago helped me to get things balanced.

I consider that spending spree an initial investment that just had to be done. Perhaps I have to make a few small ones besides that to increase the new citizen chance. In the upcoming months, it will be interesting to see if I can make my city earn more SIM than I'm spending on it.

Those stats don't look that pretty but gladly my city does!

Genesis League Goals

Within a month I've managed to increase my Genesis League Goals holdings pretty nicely. Even though I didn't add more packs during the pre-sale phase 1, I'm still planning to get my hands on them.

During phase 2 we can use GLGT token to purchase packs and I'm planning to do so. One option is to sell some of that once it's tradeable and try to benefit from the possible fluctuation.

As for the governance token, GLX, I've just recently started to sell my daily rewards. This is to fund a couple of other gaming projects and since there is little demand(and more supply) for it at the moment, I believe the price could still go lower. That being said, I believe in the game and planning on buying back when the time is right.

Rising Star

After purchasing another 12 packs, and not getting that many fans, I decided to change my fan accumulating strategy -- I'm now buying cards(fans) directly from rsgfam.

My goal is to buy 100 - 150 fans daily which will cost me 6300 - 10000 STARBITS.

This has been working out very well for me as 10k is about the maximum amount of STARBITS I can get daily. It's also great to see the max amount of STARBITS from missions go up making me possibly earn more each day.

My long-term Rising Star goal is to get back to buying packs but not needing that much time to get to the 100k STARBITS required.

Rollercoin

Just like with Rising Star and its fans my focus with Rollercoin is to increase my mining power to be able to earn much more in the future.

As I suspected, the process has been painfully slow. Adding 0.9 Ph/s in a month is nowhere near the needed monthly goal if I want to reach that 100 Ph/s by the end of the year.

However, Rollercoin seasons are pretty long and there are still 2 months left with the current one. The further we move toward the end of the season, the bigger the prizes get. So I'm counting on that in March and April my mining power will increase much more than 0.9.

The actual block rewards are obviously still pretty low and so I have invested those into miners.

+ 2 New Games On My Radar

CryptoCompany CEO is an upcoming 3D open-world multiplayer game with a goal to help players learn about Hive Ecosystem.

I find this project quite interesting and have already made a few modest investments.

• CCD (CryptoCompany Dollar) is the main token of the game used to buy all sorts of in-game items.

• SQM (Square Meter) will on the other hand be used to buy properties.

• I also delegated 100 HP

All these actions will add to my CCPower which will reward me with all sorts of future benefits.

Looking forward to this one and will add some goals in the next update.

Stardom Play is another new game I'm looking into. Game mechanics seem quite similar to Rising Star with also different kinds of missions.

At the moment I'm at the stage of monitoring pack & card prices and am still undecided about whether to buy packs or just a couple of cards.

• STARDOM token is needed to make purchases on the marketplace while STARDOM PRO is the governance token.
• Packs can be bought on Stardom Play's main page and single cards are already selling on NFTMart.

Conclusion

All in all, I'm very happy with the progress and at least I'm on the plus side with all of them(except dCity). It's also interesting to notice that some of my goals might be a bit unrealistic while with some I clearly set the bar too low.

I'm still thinking about the SPS though. I moved all of my SPS(~100) holdings to GLX and now I'm thinking that it would be a good time to get back there and invest GLX rewards back to SPS.

SPS price has been steadily declining for a while just like GLX and WOO but as a game, Splinterlands is in a whole different stage. Therefore I'm really going to give it a thought and let you know what came up with.
