Hola amigos! Les comento que el primer cumpleaños de mi sobrina está muy cerca y pues mi hermana y yo nos hemos puesto manos a la obra con respecto a los preparativos de su fiesta, el día de hoy me propuse a realizar esta base para dulces a partir de materiales reciclables y quiero compartirles el paso a paso de su realización. Acompáñame!

Hello friends! I tell you that my niece's first birthday is very close and my sister and I have started to work on the preparations for her party, today I decided to make this candy base from recyclable materials and I want to share with you the step by step of its realization. Join me!

Necesitaremos || We will need

  • cilindros de cartón
  • cartulina estampada
  • silicón frío y caliente
  • cartón común
  • pintura rosa
  • hilo de coser
  • tijeras
  • pincel
  • cardboard cylinders
  • stamped cardboard
  • hot and cold silicone
  • regular cardboard
  • pink paint
  • sewing thread
  • scissors
  • paintbrush

Comencé cortando de diferentes alturas mis cilindros de cartón con ayuda de un serrucho. Seguidamente en un cartón marque y corte dos círculos del tamaño de un plato estándar, también corté un círculo pequeño del tamaño del cilindro para tapar uno de los lados de éste mismo.
I started by cutting my cardboard cylinders of different heights with the help of a handsaw. Then I marked and cut two circles the size of a standard plate on a piece of cardboard, and I also cut a small circle the size of the cylinder to cover one of the sides of the cylinder.

En uno de los círculos estuve aplicando abundante cantidad de silicón frío para luego pegar el otro círculo de cartón encima de éste, ésto simplemente lo hice para que la superficie plana de cartón fuese más resistente y rígido y soportara el peso de los dulces sin deformarse.
I applied a generous amount of cold silicone to one of the circles and then glued the other cardboard circle on top of it, I did this simply so that the flat cardboard surface would be more resistant and rigid and would support the weight of the candies without deforming.

También pegué con silicón caliente el pequeño círculo de cartón en uno de los lados de mi cilindro, ésta será la base.
I also glued with hot silicone the small cardboard circle on one side of my cylinder, this will be the base.

Seguidamente estuve pintando mis dos círculos de cartón con pintura rosa y corté un trozo de una hermosa cartulina con estampado de estrellas de la misma medida de mi cilindro y lo suficientemente grande para forrarlo, así como también corté una larga tira de tres centímetros de anchura aproximadamente para cubrir el borde de mi círculo de cartón.
Next I was painting my two cardboard circles with pink paint and cut a piece of beautiful star print cardstock the same size as my cylinder and large enough to line it, as well as cut a long strip about three centimeters wide to cover the edge of my cardboard circle.

Acá ya lo había pegado con silicón caliente.
Here I had already glued the stenciled cardboard with hot silicone.

Luego pegué ambas partes con silicón caliente.
Then I glued both parts with hot silicone.

Finalicé cortando pequeñas estrellas en cartulina plateada escarchada para luego pegarlas con silicón frío en hilos de coser de diferentes medidas, éstos mismos hilos con estrellas los estuve pegando en el interior de la tira de cartulina, dando un lindo efecto de cortina.

I finished by cutting small stars in silver frosted cardboard and then glued them with cold silicone on sewing threads of different sizes, these same threads with stars I was gluing them inside the cardboard strip, giving a nice curtain effect.

Me encantó como quedó esta base para dulces, es una excelente idea para darle un toque diferente y hermoso a nuestras mesas de dulces, además de ser tan fácil de realizar y económico, pues lo realicé a partir de materiales reciclados. Muy contenta estoy por mi creación de hoy.
