RE: How POB changed my life a little

My perspective on the matter is narrow as well then, I guess.

I've been looking at each larger stakeholder and expecting the responsibility of platform-wide distribution and not just to a select number of people. With a more abstract look at this, I can see that each larger stakeholder is adding to the distribution in their own way. My assumptions about what is right and wrong are blinding me from the different acts for distribution.

Emotions have been up and down over the past few days. Seems like I need some breathing room.

I still feel like there is room for improvement with this and some discussion should be raised about what kind of actions are seen as abusive to the platform overall in terms of voting within close-knit circles.

The advice I'd been given from @finguru and @allcapsonezero recently has gone in one ear and out the other.

And fair play, I respect the check, and the opportunity to reflect on myself. Got to swallow my pride and admit that I was exceptionally hypocritical there with regards to the last quoted text.

Trying to keep everything in order on POB is a full time job that pays worse than just being on the platform, but it is needed.

We need people to keep things from getting out of control and I appreciate that you are taking on that responsibility @calumam, but it really is a double edged sword to try and do something about it. I do hope that as a community, we can keep scammers out with organization and discussion... and downvotes if it comes to it... but it needs to be cut and dry, cause stakers will vote how they vote and writers will write what they write. The tokens will distribute... whales gonna whale and minnows gonna minnow...

I am not sure if you remember @haejin and how he did 10 low effort posts / day and got support (100% upvotes) from a mega whale... aka, megawhale upvoting themselves 10 times a day at 100%. There was discussion, then organization, then downvotes and he eventually stopped.

I have been supporting @vempromundo's trail as well as yours as you both seem to care about POB and the longevity of the platform. I have also placed a lot of faith in both of you as I just don't have a lot of time to be a steward of this platform... I can only bring my perspective and hopefully shed some light on things.

I know the platform is in good hands as @calumam exhibited extreme humility right here and this exchange seemed to cause growth understanding and respect... which are all good things. POB for the win!

Very true, I'm realising, lol. It is a great learning opportunity though when you look into the face of it and allow yourself to learn regardless of the outcome. I hope that the exchange gave @vempromundo the opportunity to learn and expand their mind.

There is definitely greater abuse to come here on POB, we'd be naive to assume otherwise. Let's just keep our eyes peeled.

I can only bring my perspective and hopefully shed some light on things.

Always appreciated, keep it coming.
