The singer of the family

I just had to write about this as I am so proud of my sister and her partner for the progress they are making in their music career!

So my sister has been singing since she was a kid, for as long as I can remember. All she’s ever wanted to do is be a singer and she’s damn good at it!!

It isn’t easy to make it in the music industry. She’s worked so hard and been so dedicated to get to where she is now, she’s really getting somewhere with it and has started getting more recognition for her talent, which she deserves. I can’t express how proud of her I am.

A few years ago she met her partner, they met by both being in the music scene. He is a very talented musician and plays a range of different instruments, I really don’t know how he can be that talented! It took me years to even learn the basics of playing a guitar and then I gave up. Not just that, he also produces music.

The two of them decided to start making music together and they haven’t looked back. After forming their alt-pop duo “The Best Part” they have released a few songs, their latest release being “Spaceman”, and are in the process of creating a lot more great things to come!!

They have played a bunch of gigs in Ireland and some in the UK. Just before covid hit and everything had to close down I went to a concert they had in The Workman’s Club, Dublin. It was so awesome to be there live watching them do their thing! Before that I had never properly seen them perform, I always love listening to their music but hearing it live it just hit different. They KILLED IT !! I was so proud watching my sister up there doing what she always dreamed of doing and the crowd singing along with her. Being there with family that I hadn’t seen in a long time made it extra special.

After that it was hard for them to do any shows because of this thing called covid, but since the restrictions have lifted they have played a few gigs that I haven’t had the pleasure of going to as I’ve been across the world in Mexico. I miss my family loads but we keep in touch and she recently told me that they have a lot of shows coming up and that they’ve landed their own “NEW BREED SESSIONS” in the Hard Rock Hotel Dublin, Ireland. Cool Right!!

They are now playing there every week for the month of May, so if anyone reading this just happens to live in Dublin go check them out!! For anyone else that wants to check them out and have a listen to more of their awesome music, links and socials are below.

Your sister has a great voice! I loved the song and I'm happy you shared it on Listnerds.
Did you onboard her to Hive & Listnerds to help promote their music? @stickupboys have built some nice connections here on Hive & Listnerds.. Just a tip, I'd show her the power of sharing their song in a week's time :) Maybe it will convince them..

Her voice it amazing. And they make a great team. It seems like everything they do just turns to gold. A lot of hard work, I'm sure, and I'm so glad to see it's all starting to pay off!!
I will have their autograph before they REALLY break through though hehe.

I really hope they join Hive because I have the feeling it might help them more.
