Got liquid 1UP? Pair them with Hive/SPT in Diesel Pool for Extra Rewards!

avatar

Been spending quite some time on 1UP and really enjoying the interaction and responding to the comments on my posts and others posts too (need to be more active there)

It came to my attention that a lot of members were asking about how to use Diesel Pools.

And shoutout to @davdiprossimo that gave me the idea (check out his Post) to do a step by step tutorial and hope it'll be helpful.

PS: I'll be using Beeswap as it feel smoother than tribaldex and shows the APR of each liquidity Pair

Log-in your Hive keychain wallet and visit https://beeswap.dcity.io/swap?pools&search=one

pool1.PNG

  • (1) I've included in the provided address the filter for 1UP only pair or you can search manually for it
  • There are 2 liquidity pools for 1UP: ONEUP:SPT and SWAP.HIVE:ONEUP
  • (2) I've chosen the SWAP.HIVE:ONEUP pair as it's less prone to price fluctuations, lower risk of impermanent loss and a juicy APR at 290%
  • The steps described below can be done with the ONEUP:SPT pair, you'll use SPT instead of SWAP.HIVE
  • (3) Press (+) to proceed to adding liquidity

Adding liquidity

pool2.PNG

  • Before providing liquidity, make sure you have matching $ value of 1UP and SWAP.HIVE

  • If you only have 1UP, Go to "Swap" tab and swap half your 1UP holding to SWAP.HIVE.

    pool3.PNG

  • (1) Provide your desired 1UP tokens to add to the pool, the system will automatically match the needed SWAP.HIVE

  • (1') MAX if you want to provide ALL your available 1UP tokens

  • (2) Press "Add liquidity" and confirm it via Hive keychain Wallet.

Checking Your position

pool5.PNG

  • After confirming, go to "Your Postion" tab and you'll find informations about your provided liquidity
  • (1) the amount of provided tokens in the pool and current $ value
  • (2) Expected rewards (you receive rewards every 24 hours)
  • (3) APR and reward timer: these details are only provided by beeswap
  • Rewards APR may fluctuate based on the tokens value or total liquidity (more people joining => less APR)

Removing Liquidity

pool6.PNG

  • (1) Got to "Remove liquidity" Tab
  • (2) Choose the pool you want to remove liquidity from
  • You can either remove:
    • All liquidity by pressing "MAX"
    • A percentage of your position (3')
    • A specific amount of either tokens (3'')
  • (4) Press "Remove liquidity" and Confirm: your tokens will be available in your wallet

I hope I could clear step by step how providing liquidity is done! If any question, ask in the comments and I'll do my best to help.

PS: This is NOT financial advise, it's only a tutorial and I'm not responsible for any loss so DYOR please.

Thanks so much for the mention man! 👊🙂

It sucks I don't have enough to provide liquidity myself at the moment. The APR is amazing, and it's a shame we're gonna have those rewards available for only another couple of months roughly.

I've to be honest, the ONEUP project is super cool. I've got 4-5 project I'm keeping an eye on and investing in right now (time and $), and ONEUP is one of them. I don't know what they're cooking but surely they'll come up with some great benefits for us.

I was hesitating between staking 1UP for more upvotes power and liquidity pool.

In term of profits, providing liquidity is better but it comes at a price of having low voting power for great contents.

We can consider ourselves lucky being part of 1UP since the early days, hope we can stack up as much as possible. I've got the same feeling that something big awaiting 1UP!

Hey guys I'm still rather new to this space so I have to learn quite a bit... I actually had to take a step back from it all and really ask myself who I want to be and the content I am writing lol. I just started a 365 day challenge that I already quit =X lol doesn't seem like I'm off to a good start.

I recently delved pretty big into hive and am supporting it deeply due to finding out and starting on splinterlands. But I'm all about pairing up resources with the right people. I like the idea of building and learning but the biggest thing I think in terms of a hive and blogging is building and supporting a community.

I'm down to delegate some hp if you guys need it I dont have a crazy amount but I just powered up about 300 hive during HPud but still figuring out what is the perfect amount I'll need yet personally.

Hey hi man! Thanks for your comment!

What I think you should do is delegate to some big accounts OR alternatively do Curation Trails.

Read these to learn about both:

  1. https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@davdiprossimo/how-to-earn-leo-tokens-passively-with-delegation
  2. https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@davdiprossimo/how-to-earn-curation-rewards-passively-through-curation-trails

Hope this helps 👊😃

Oh yeah I'm good bro I looked into those already and I am rather active that I dont need to delegate as I typically burn through it decently enough. Not to mention after the Hivepud I plan on delegating half of whatever i get delegated or all back to the splinterlands community in RC section cause honestly without them I wouldnt have taken so many deep dives.

I really just like joining all the wonderful communities like !PIZZA and seeing and hearing everyones stories

Guess I've missed a pretty interesting discussion! But yeah lots of awesome communities and new ones are emerging and I wish I have enough time to dive deeper into this entire ecosystem.
@infinitytcg I've seen some delegating HP to ecency as they get 100% of revenues generated, maybe you can check that out.

Thanks for the lookout, but for me it isn't about the revenue, but personally being able to support quality content creators I find along the way. <3
!PIZZA community was great and rather inviting and helpful, and as I learn of and engage with more sort of figuring out the little pockets I'd like to just relax in when I am not "grinding" but overall writing is helping me sort of discover myself in a sense and give a unique approach to my "voice" as normally I am rather old school and I just like to talk to individuals to get to know them lol.

Regarding quality content creators, it's kinda sad finding well made posts and not receiving the attention needed.
I gotta agree with PIZZA community, they are all nice and welcoming peoples.
Writing was at first a mean to earn some cryptos, but after some time it becames really enjoyable to blog and interact with others (like we're doing now :D) while learning a ton of new stuff!

Yeah for me I just use it as a way to brand at first I don't really care about the crypto aspect of it as I make more from trading
image.png
in just under 1 month was probably around $120 or less for this not to mention the rental income it generated me from then to now. NFA (I'm selling a good portion of this card into market now)

Well don't let it make you said just follow that individuals content and like/support them. We can all do our part in a much greater ecosystem. Sometimes quality content gets lost in the mix because that individual doesn't network as much or brand themselves. If you build up a voice you can always just post on their behalf and give them 100% of the profits that is the beauty of this ecosystem.

Those that wish to solve problems, help, and build a community can they just have to find the right means and tools to persist.

Like right now I can be writing posts and generating but that isn't as important to me as going out and finding good wholesome people to network with and then figure out what type of post I can create that will add value to people while also bringing value and exposure to myself.

I think in this world where things are moving so fast it is the little details that will make us stand out and where we can separate ourselves from the pack

Sometimes quality content gets lost in the mix because that individual doesn't network as much or brand themselves.

We can relate to what's happening in the real life or politics, peoples will follow those with a "higher" voice. But in this ecosystem, there is a fairer chance for everyone due to the envirement being less competitive and the will to grow this ecosystem as a whole.

It was truly interesting reading your comments and getting the bigger picture of all what's happening here!
