WEEKEND ON FIRE: WEEK #139

Hello everyone!
Quite an interesting topic selection.
I'm particularly interested in this topic as it gets me thinking and setting priorities right.

Your house is on fire - You manage to get your family and pets out of the house safely and have time to go back for only one single item. What is it and why?

You'd think that having my family and pet(s) safe from a fire outbreak would make me relaxed. Yeah, well it will. They're priority. Of utmost importance. But then, there are a few other things that might hold a little value to me.

The first thing that popped on my mind when I saw this prompt will probably come across as not very valuable but it very much is to me. Truth is, I probably wouldn't go for it in a case of emergency. It may not come to mind in such a time. But working based on impulse and a thought etched in mind already, I'll go for all of my credentials and documents. Do I need to tell how important these are?

There's this bag one of my big brothers own. So many times, he has told me, "...in the case of an occurrence, grab that bag and get out." I've known that for years. All our credentials; land, school, work, investment, property documents, etc will be very important. And considering most of them are the original copies which might be not so easy for me to get back in a case of damage, I wouldn't wait a minute in going in for it.

All of the documents are a testament of/to my qualification and proof of my financial dealings which might become null if unavailable. Almost everything we do requires paperwork, why fhen will I not put them at the top of my safety list?

I cannot overflog the importance of these documents but I hope you get my point.
