Easily Manage Your Wrapped Tokens With Trust Wallet

If you’re anything like me, you find managing this whole cross-chain asset thing a bit painful. Meta mask is great for navigating on desktop, but with mobile, it’s a bit of a nightmare app.
I was looking for an alternative for mobile and consolidating all my wallets in one app, and that’s what Trust Wallet was able to offer me.
The UX is good, not great, but it’s totally manageable and by far the best multi-wallet hot wallet app I’ve used so far.
In fact, I am running 4 ETH based wallets, 1 Binance Smart Chain wallet and a Tron wallet from a single app. Best of all, switching between these wallets are almost seamless.
Now you won’t be able to run smart contracts and approve dAPp contracts using this Mobile wallet, but you can view all your history, balances abs even send and receive as most wallets will do
ETH and BSC in one view
If you’re using the same Ethereum wallet as your BSC wallet, you can import it into Trust using your passphrase.
- Click settings
- Click wallet
- Select the plus sign ➕ in the top right corner
- Pick I already have a wallet
- Select multi-coin wallet
- Paste your seed phrase
- Click import
Trust Wallet with Custom tokens
Once your wallet is imported, you should see all your tokens available. If you have custom tokens such as the likes of
- CUB on BSC - 0x50d809c74e0b8e49e7b4c65bb3109abe3ff4c1c1
- BLEO on BSC - 0x6421531af54c7b14ea805719035ebf1e3661c44a
- WLEO on ETH - 0x73A9fb46e228628f8f9BB9004eCa4f4F529D3998
- WHIVE on ETH - 0x11d147e8d39f59af00e159c4b1fe3a31d58a2c66
- BHIVE on BSC - 0x347f041189fb4f005999db07a009d2ff63646c4a
To add a custom token, select the following.
- Add custom token
- Select the network either ETH or BSC
- Paste the contract address
- Click add, and you’re done
You will then see your tokens in your wallet with all the history and balances.
In-app staking
Just like with atomic wallet, you can also use the wallets nodes they've set up with certain chains to allow for in-app staking. This makes it super easy for users to earn an internet on their coins while it's sitting in their wallet.

Possible upgrades I’d like to see
On ETH, since they can tap into dapps like Uniswap or aggregators like 1inch, these wallets can do internal swaps for coins with spot prices. I would like to see that rolled out for BSC tokens.
I would also like to see tokens merged from a UX perspective so I can combine tokens that are the same asset on different chains, just for a better experience.
I would also love to see bridging transactions available in the wallet to swap between chains with my assets.
I'd also like to see HIVE wallets integrated with an app like this; it would make it easy to manage all your tokens. I can already see how easy it is to manage my ETH, BSC and TRON wallets, so if we could get HIVE support on here, this would be my go-to wallet for sure.
Side note
When I loaded up all my ETH wallets/BSC wallets, I found a shit load of tokens. I would highly recommend you grab your ETH addresses and drop them into Etherscan and BSCscan and check the tokens sitting in your wallets.
Some may not be automatically added, but I was lucky enough to find $200 of extra tokens, which is awesome. I take that as payment for managing my wallets better than I did previously :)

I may need to start using this over Metamask. Honestly hate the UI on metamask and it's seriously confusing. I also feel like tokens get added and go missing unless I type in some code. Does trustwallet auto pick these up and add them so I can always see balances and not have to add in the token codes?
Also with the in app staking do you retain the wallet and crypto on it or are those tokens sent to another wallet for staking?
Meta mask has its quirks for sure and a lot of us who use it make excuses for it because we’ve used it for so long! Trust wallet does have a better UI and flow that’s for sure
The wallet doesn’t track ALL coins automatically but a lot of them will show up first time! Best is to just use etherscan and Bscscan check your wallets and then add all the contract addresses
It does ping you when you send or recover tokens though which is cool!
As for the staking no it remains in your wallet and you can remove from staking at any time

Good stuff thank you for the extra details going to check it out.
My question is whether or not you are going to cash in those extra tokens as the gas fees seem horrible.
I personally stayed away from ETH and I have zero interest joining the ETH hype right now. I guess my Metamask account would also count as a ETH wallet excluding my wallets for exchanges. However it is used only for BSC right now and I have zero interest in doing anything with ETH because of the 2.0 fight plus gas fees.

Most of them probably not, they would need to come up with a way to either bhrb these tokens for ETH or somehow move it to a layer 2 solution to try and trade these small amounts
even with ETH 2 and BSC they will woll reach the same problem eventually because they doing the computation on chain!

True. If BSC starts blowing up then the costs will also scale just as high. Also the Defi world is pulling out a lot of BNB and ETH locked away from the exchanges so there is even less liquidity out there. So I am not sure if it will make it easier for people to pump and dump.

Oh don’t you know it with BTC being clawed off the market fiat users are going to turn their eyes to these tokens providing incentives like BSC and they going to lock it up on chain and in smart contracts!
The unit bias will kick in, people will be drinking the moon juice all of 2021, these tokens all have razor thin liquidity, doesn’t take much to pump and dump em

ENGAGEtokens.I do not have much tokens outside Hive ecosystem so I will wait for them to integrate with Hive.
But from review it looks promising. It’s always difficult to manage all the coins/tokens that you have accumulated over the years. You tend to loose track of them. Having them all listed at one place will definitely help and you never know which one will jump and reaches the moon 🌝

Man I've got WAAAY too many tokens, I am planning to consolidate them during this year as I see good deals to get out, I can't keep managing all these coins. I need to simplify or I am going to just end up losing alot
Yeah the way metamask doesn't show all the tokens in the wallet is really annoying. Probably have to switch to trust wallet to better manage them.
I only use Trust wallet on my phone to view whats going on and keep track of everything, I still use meta mask to run the transactions when i am on my desktop

Metamask is much more convenient when you adjust the settings on the BSC mainnet ... It's not complicated.
