Business Class at its Finest

December 2019 was one of the most memorable travel experience I've ever had. Some of you may have travelled in business class, but I have not; it is too pricey for me.
So, let me tell you about my experience...

While waiting to board the plane, a crew announced my name and asked me to come to the counter. For a brief period of time, I thought I was in trouble. 😱
Nearing the counter, a smiling lady crew asked if I was in a hurry to get to my destination ( KK, Malaysia ) which I quickly replied with "not really". After that, she asked if I’m interested in upgrading my flight to business class which I answered
" For how much? " , thinking they are in a promotion or something. She then said "Oh, it is for free but then you have to wait for the next flight which is in three hours."
I remained quiet for seconds, as the back of my head asked "Why me"?
"What is the catch?", "What will I do for three hours?! "
I even thought that maybe it was a prank!.😂

As if the nice crew lady probably had read my mind, she went on and explained that someone needed to get home as soon as possible. It was an emergency of some sort. She couldn't say why in detail which is sensible and acceptable.
In addition, she also said that if I do agree I will be waiting at the Sky Lounge.
Just before asking her what's a sky lounge, she kept going sharing details such as where the sky lounge is, what I can do there and free good food is served. 😅😍

So yeah, Sky Lounge is a cozy area in the airport where first class passengers go sit, wait and relax while waiting for their flights. You can take a nap or watch TV and they offer you good quality food. 👌🤤

I eventually replied Yes since I am a good person. 🤪😆
Well, it's December, my birthday month, and Christmas is approaching, so it doesn't hurt to be kind, I reasoned. It's also a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity; after all, you don't get to fly in business class every day, do you? Furthermore, a part of my thoughts are with that person, hoping that everything is alright and that his or her need to be at 'home' as soon as possible isn't that pressing.

Honestly? three hours flew by, in an instant, just like that, it was time to board the plane and yeah, that business class seat is way much comfier. I even wished the flight was longer than 45 minutes!
Hahahaha!
