Growing up I saw the polygamous homes and single parenting which is hard, I have always had the love of my mum and dad, and the love and care were massive, thought it was like that for everyone and life is going to stay like that always.

My father was a military man, even been in military, the man doesn’t bring his work-life home, when he is at work he is fully focused, and when he is at home, his mind and heart is fully with us, he always makes sure that he is always home for us we don’t have the luxury of things, but my father makes sure that he ways satisfy our needs, then I thought it was his duty, that he was met to love, protect, provide and support us which it is, but he makes sure that he always fulfilled his an obligation as a father from 1995-2003 he always makes sure that our clothes were iron, shoes are cleaned before going out, he will take his time to dress us properly, he was doing all that till we come of ages to do it ourselves. I can’t talk of people that grow up in a polygamous home but ever since my dad died in 2015 at the frontline in barga Maiduguri, Borno state, during the Boko haram crisis.

We don’t have all the time in the world so the time you have, Make sure you show love to our love once and the people around you because when you are goes you are only remembered by the things we do when we are alive.
