Do we need staking and a frontend for a tribe ?

In fact, a tribe in hive-engine is a community with a token. So, the token is founded first, then the staking activated, and a frontend created. And as we all know, there are so many tokens without any frontend. Even cryptocurrencies, not all of them have a front end, but all of them have a wallet. I don't know if there is a crypto without staking or not, but who knows, maybe such one exists.

But in hive blockchain itself, we already have the possibility to create a community, and each community owner can create a token for the community. And the community in hive may play the role of the frontend. Where people will create content and use the tag of the token. I'm sure developers can create bots to distribute tokens, or that could be done manually. Such bots may even reward stakeholders or just the team can do that as well.

So, in fact, the frontend doesn't play a big role. And even staking could be done manually. Maybe the only good thing about the frontend is the marketing. So, the owners of the tribe will have a brand, and they will have interest to promote that. It's good as well because those who join will need to create a hive account anyway to join the tribe.

That's why I think that the frontend and automatic staking is not that necessary.

But it's always nice to have more applications and websites where we need a hive account to login.

Yes let me approach this question this way as i think it's important. The very idea of tribes are redundant. In other words it's nothing that one tribe can do over another. Although i like leofinance at the end of the day hive.blog could just as easily do this and many others pob...peakd and whatever they are that exist. So to invest a ton in a token that is nothing more than a conduit for what we already have. It doesn't make an entire great deal of sense.. but we do it anyway.

The situation is really that tags already segregate groups of interests and hobbies. So why would you need the same front end for the same chain over and over again infinitum. When they don't bring anything significant to what we already have. The only good thing would have been maybe they further decentralize the " wealth" of the network. However they don't do that considerably enough to matter. As to say the tribes are pretty much owned by the same 5 guys all the time.

Now i'm part of a project called bitcoin myk..but there is a big significant difference in bitcoin myk being a token on hive and tribes and other platforms. The difference is our entire model is based on not buying the token but moreso it acting in the true form of a currency not an investment vehicle. There is a big difference there a huge significant difference in what's been said. As bitcoin myk then depends mostly on production and vendors and transactions and value than speculation and company assets owned by teh same people that don't inspire growth and mass adoption. So freemium services are different because they don't run on proof of brain and that's significant means you can get something in bitcoin myk you can't get on the hive chain. or you don't have right now on the chain. However again we have proof of brain front ends and to keep building noncompetitive same site system.. you're not creating new tech or new value or new money. You're just spinning your wheels. So most of them just a waste of money and time they'll never have growth. Simply because either they don't understand this.. or they are just ignoring either way it does not work that way.
