Market crash spectating
I've been waiting to use this meme template since forever, it's basically a guy that has "Just Bleed" written on his chest while spectating a MMA match . Ever since I became aware of this living meme I thought to myself it would be perfect to poke fun at some very shitty markets, and you could say we're experiencing that right now but this old clown has since worse so I'm not gonna lose any sleep because of it.
I wish I had more HBD before this whole mini market catastrophe started, instead I faffed around if I should convert some Hive to HBD when it was above $1, and of course I didn't. However I did take some profits in November when everything was going to moon so it's not all bad. The most fortunate thing is that I stuck with Tether despite all the FUD about it for the last year and didn't touch the dumpster fire that TerraUSD has become. I wish I knew about it before meme-ing on HBD but I didn't imagine a stable coin could take such a big hit, at least I'll keep my eye on it for future lol-ing opportunities. It's advisable to store profits in more than just one stable coin but I'm a lazy bastard and so far a lucky one.
Many were predicting some sort of bottom around $30k for bitcoin so I took some USDT and bought me some crypto gold yesterday because bitcoin was around that range and also that I wouldn't kick myself for missing this "opportunity". Of course bitcoin is going lower today, fortunately I still have more stable coin ammunition in preparation for the $20k level.
I don't know if I'm a genius or just using the laziest method but I keep my stable thingies on the Exodus wallet and also use it to buy stuff on discount. The fees are not the best but I feel much safer than using some dodgy exchange, because everything happens in the wallet.
I haven't used traditional exchanges for a long time, is $15 fee for buying $700 worth of bitcoin a lot ? Anyway it's super convenient so I'm gonna use it regardless.
My mindset for the near future is one of " buy, buy, buy" so until Hive reaches 20 cents and bitcoin $20k I'll be like the meme guy: "Just bleeeeeeeed !!!!" :)

Well, I don't think $15 is too much though, I've had a more higher gas fee paid for some little amount of coins I bought but it turned out well when the coin mooned 😊 its all part of the game 😉

I think this is a lesson to be taking into consideration to always have stablecoins available for seasons like this, so we don't go on singing the same song over and over again "I wish I can buy the dip but..."

I don't like stables so I have like 0 ammo. All I can do is resist the temptation to sell and that is really not hard imo. I never really understood people that panic sold, well... actually I do understand, but that is why I always preach to view crypto as gambling and all money invested as potentially already lost...

I don't have that much cash on the sidelines either. I prefer having smaller fees but the exchanges just charge us what they can and there isn't too much we can do about it.

that's why I prefer to do transactions inside the Exodus wallet since fees are high on most exchanges, at least I feel safer this way
I pay ~20% at the btm's.
It hurts, too.
They tell me when the high fees are gone so are the moonshots.
I rarely buy/sell so I don't feel very affected by the fees
