Meme travel - my Hive story

I talked about how I started on Hive before but since the Hive story thingy is trendy ( or it was lol, might be a bit late on that one ) I though I might give you a different perspective on how the story of this old clown began.

Before discovering steem ( aka Hive 0.1 ) I was looking for an additional revenue source, not because I was struggling or anything but because I felt that I wasn't earning enough to really get ahead. After searching the interwebs for a good while I discovered crypto and also the fact that you could earn on certain blockchains which seemed pretty cool.

At that time I wanted to blog about traveling, hiking, nature and exploring this giant world in general since it has been a life long passion. So I created my first account that focused on that, and it did ok considering how hard it is to get a footing when starting out. Then dMania came around, a meme dapp which gave some pretty hefty upvotes because at the time steem and also SBD was pumping pretty hard. So I though to myself why not create an account for meme-ing since I enjoyed making them and the rewards were nice. And thus this account was made in December of 2017.

After the prices came crashing down in 2018 I said to myself that it's not worth the effort to write long travel posts just for pennies so I stuck to clowning around and making memes because I had fun doing it and it didn't take tons of hours to do. Unfortunately since then all the meme projects on steem/hive were a bit short lived or didn't gain traction so I started adding text to my memes.

A year ago I started posting consistently again so here I am shitposting my way to financial freedom ... hopefully.
