Racy recollections

Sometimes I find myself day dreaming, either on my way to work, waiting in que at the supermarket, or in other similar situations when I let the old brain just do it's thing. But instead of dreaming of sunny tropical beaches filled with hot chicks, the Negative Nancy in me usually drifts towards things that I missed out or that I screwed up in some way. Like the fact I sold bitcoin too early almost a year ago partly because I didn't realize it was the beginning of the bull run and partly because I have been waiting for years to see some palpable profits. Or the fact that I could have bought the OG coin very cheap when I first heard of it, or how much money I could have made if I sold steem at $8, and I could go on and on. I sometimes have to virtually slap myself out of it ( slapping myself for real in public is way too crazy even for myself :P ) in order not to dwell on such thoughts too much.

I try to use all these missed opportunities as financial lessons, but it's way easier to just get wrapped up in the what ifs, instead of just drawing a conclusion and laying the issue to rest. I guess I can't help myself but think of how different things could be in a parallel universe where I made different decisions, that's the kind of sadomasochistic fun my brain is into apparently.
Hopefully there won't be any more major screw ups on my side this bull run, but that like hoping for world peace and prosperity, it's nice but a little improbable :)
