🛌🏻 OSAKA to KYOTO tour 🏨

Before we go to the tourist spot let me show you the hotel that we have stayed in for 4 days. The name of the hotel is Prince Smart Inn Osaka Yodoyabashi. They have a vending machine on the first floor which I really like, a free breakfast, a laundry machine plus an ice maker on the ground floor. The room is really neat with a TV and an air conditioning unit. The are also free toiletries in the lobby which you can take any time. Plus the fact that it is near a metro station and a grocery store.

Our room was spacious and beautiful, equipped with TV and air conditioning. In addition, you can take advantage of the free toiletries available in the lobby whenever you need them.

This is our free breakfast in the hotel for four days. Some of my friends did not like how little the serving is and the flavors but dude I love them! So whatever leftovers they have on their plate, I ate it all.

- - - 🚌 Explore Kinkakuji Temple 🏯 - - -

At 8:10 we left the hotel to visit Kinkakuji Temple. Unfortunately, some people in our group were late boarding the bus, much to our driver's annoyance. We have learned that the Japanese are very serious about their schedules and we Filipinos should take note.

Despite a small delay, we arrived at Kinkakuji Temple, the place was relaxing and I got to see some ceremonies going on inside, although taking pictures during the ceremonies is not allowed.

The temple is impressive with its golden pavilion and well-kept garden. I couldn't resist taking some photos of the scenery, which was breathtaking. You can really appreciate the beauty and culture of Japan at this temple.

🍱 Trying Japanese cuisine 🍣

We also tried some matcha ice cream which was refreshing and lovely. I highly recommend trying Japanese cuisine when visiting Japan as it's a perfect way to immerse yourself in the culture and try something new.

Overall, it was a great day exploring Kinkakuji Temple, learning about Japanese culture, and tasting their delicious cuisine.

🏯 Discovering Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine 🍂

Aside from the Kinkakuji Temple, we also visited another iconic landmark in Japan - the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. This Shinto shrine is famous for its thousands of vibrant orange torii gates that form a trail leading up to the sacred Mount Inari.

The sight of the Torii gates was breathtaking, and I couldn't help but be in awe of the beauty of this place. I learned that some of the locals believe that you need to knock three times and make a wish before entering a torii gate. It was a unique experience that I will always cherish.

I will not let the experience of getting a toy from a Gachapon, or capsule toy machine, in Japan. In exchange for 200 yen, I was able to get a mini Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro. I was so happy with this pull!

After Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, we went to a local Japanese restaurant to eat some udon! I was so full of just one bowl of hand-pulled noodles. It is also amazing seeing them be made in front of you.

🛍️ Exploring Dotonbori 🎁

After our visit to the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, we headed back to Osaka for some shopping at Dotonbori. This popular shopping district in Osaka is known for its vibrant nightlife, colorful signages, and delicious food. It was a bustling area, and there were so many shops and restaurants to explore.

We also had our dinner at an eat-all-you-can restaurant inside Don Quijote! Look at that fresh food!

I also want to say thank you to our awesome tour guide 'Rick'. His son also gave us a paper crane that has a message inside. My Osaka tour was really awesome because of the help of Rick.

Dude, Japan is so beautiful. No wonder why a lot of people want to go there! I often see the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine in movies and I am happy that you're able to see it personally.

The two small toys you got from the capsule toy machine are so kawaii! Rick's son is also sweet for giving you a paper crane with a 'Welcome to Japan' note on it :))
