Within the darkness of the necropolis, the large crypt beetle scuttled across the stone floor. It made its way through the lines of tombs, searching for its next meal. Retracing steps it often took in the emptiness and silence of the underground. The crypt beetle returned to its meal.
The crypt beetle stopped at one tomb, reared back on its hind legs, and shoved the lid off. It fell heavily to the floor with an echoing slam.
A small scream of surprise and horror sounded from across the room. The crypt beetle turned. A human stood there, face aghast, staring at the insect. As the beetle fully faced this intruder, the human turned and ran away in fright.

The crypt beetle is a common card under the Chaos Legion Edition. Costs 3 mana to summon this card deals 1 melee damage until level 5 and will deal 3 damage at level 10. With armor its armor and shield ability it serves as a good support tank for the death team.

This creature of fire,death, and doom, a 2 mana summoner perfect for rulesets like Silenced Summoner. It is an epic summoner so it can summon a level 2 common card even he is only level 1.

Since no buff or debuff from summoners will be applied in this match using a 2 mana summoner is the wisest move allowing you to maximize the mana cap.

This will allow us to use more monster or use a high mana tank. Like in this match I managed to use Harklaw.

With lost magic, Harklaw is just a badass tank.

The shield ability attached to this monster will let him tank melee and range damages since it will reduce incoming damage from the opponent's side.

It takes 8 mana to summon this monster, using Jarlax the Undead helped a lot in summoning him.

Most melee damage from low mana monster does not deal a lot so it's wise to have a tank with a shield.

Second and Third Position: FILLERS

Fourth Position: HALFING ALCHEMIST

The Halfling Alchemist is essential to the Harklaw and Crypt Beetle combo because it reduces the damage coming from enemy units.

It's quite a useful card in a lot of scenarios and it is one of the cards listed on my wishlist.

Once Halfling alchemist reduces the opponent's damage Harklaw and Crypt Beetle can last long in the match and will have a higher chance of winning the game.

Fun fact. If the monster has 3 damage it will be reduced to 1. Basically, the remainder of the damage will be void. 1.5 = 1

Fourth Position: TWISTED JESTER

This card is my main damage dealer and must be protected at all costs.

A 4 mana alpha card with 2 damage, 3 speed, and 4 health. This clown snipes and kills backline units.

I placed him in one of the safest positions (usually at the back) while harklaw is tanking the damage in the front.

Fifth Position: CRYPT BEETLE

And Finally, last but not the least is Harklaw's balls!

I mean the Crypt Beetle...

Our star of this challenge is a 3 mana common death monster with 1 damage, 1 speed, 1 armor, and 2 health.

It also has the Shield ability that's why I call him Harklaw's balls. The same reasoning with Harklaw, I chose crypt beetle because it is good against Melee and Range attacks.

Though he will not deal any damage from the damage, this menace will protect our twisted jester until the very end.
