Havelock Island is truly the Queen of Islands

avatar

On the third day of our Andaman trip, we have started our journey from Port Blair to Havelock Island to stay there for two days. Havelock Island which is also knows as Swaraj Deep, which belongs to the Andaman South.

We have taken a Cruise named Makruzz which was the fastest Cruise available and takes around 90 minutes from Port Blair to reach there. We have taken the fastest because we were not sure about the sea sickness as this was the first time we were travelling long distance in sea through ship.

There is around 4-5 Cruise which runs from Port Blair to Havelock and out of that one was Makruzz. Though the next best was Coral Queen, which was run by the government, the problem was it used to take around 3.5 hours to reach from port Blair to havelock. The look and feel of the ship is awesome.

After reaching in Havelock, we have taken a scooty on rent and headed straight to our hotel. After getting freshened up, we have headed straight to Kala Pathar Beach. It is one of the 3 best beaches in Havelock which offers a contrast of black boulders along with white sandy shores. The views of the sea along with the white sand looks awesome. The looks are stunning because the sky as well as the sea looks blue and then since it was a white sand, the water was quite clean.

The beach was empty when we have visited and was not too crowded and thus it was ideal for people to enjoy the sea and swim as well as spent time in beach.

The beach is perfect for spending some time there, as well as doing picnic and get the great view of the sea. There are some wooden chairs set up and you can get some clothes, fruits and tender coocnut, other than that there is nothing much about this beach. There is no activity happens in this beach and because of that you will find less crowd and the crowd comes here for relaxation or photo shoot.

Next we have visited to the Radhanagar beach which is again one of the best 3 beaches in Havelock Island. People usually come here for complete serenity and relaxation. we came here to witness the sunset, people do come here to watch sunset and spend time there.

I have captured a lot of photos of the Sunset still thinks that I missed a lot of good opportunities to click

There is also professional photo shoot was going on and couples do take the services to take home some of the beautiful memories from here.

This is me just enjoying the sunset and the view along with my feet inside the water which also gives me the relation from the tiredness from the whole day.

Some art work created naturally by some insects, looks like a star from

And at the sunset time, you will find a lot of people either capturing the moments or just memorizing the whole nature.

After this we have went back to hotel, freshned up a little and then had our dinner and called a day. It was tiring but still a good day to spend the time in 2 best beaches in Havelock island.

Wow, those pictures make me drool, such a beautiful place! Made me further miss the sea, though I'm pretty close to the beach it's been a while since I've gone there. Thanks for posting these!
