I disappeared. Because I was feeling awful. But I'm back! Because I'm feeling...

7824 steps. That was how much I moved today.

Sure, it doesn't tell you much about my day, but it does tell you that I moved my body.

It's a big improvement on the last few days. See, my neck has been hurting and to greater and lesser degrees since Saturday and I had my Covid booster on Saturday afternoon and it sat me on my arse, big time, for about a day.

That's not dissimilar to the last two times. Though this time I resorted to pain meds. One night for my neck when it kept waking me up during the night, and the next night before I went to bed since I felt all the flu-like aching of vaguely wanting to die.

Hmmm, maybe it wasn't quite that bad. Though I'm very good at meditating and gently holding myself through pain, so for me to give into taking pain meds says something.

I digress. Did I tell you I'm feeling a lot better?

I almost booked an osteopath appointment to 'fix' my neck. Brad talked me out of it. He usually finds that most practitioners are not that great at what they do and that he can usually fix something himself or time sorts it out for him.

After he did a great job of massaging my shoulders and actively working out some of the tension in there I can see what he means. I might still go to that (I think potentially brilliant) osteo I found, one of these days, but with Brad's knowledge of the body he may have just saved me $120.

And I must be feeling better because we walked in the bush for 50 minutes. And I managed to wriggle and move and dance a little today.

I'm sure the two deep rounds of EFT tapping I did specifically targetted at neck pain and what I'm finding to be a "pain in the neck" also helped a lot 😉

Before I go here are some photos of a very cute lizard.

Brad took them, as usual :P Just like the ones of me above, in the bush, obviously... because I'm not (yet) clever enough to be in two places at once 😉

I am glad you're feeling better. I must say that both The Husband and I had, other than sensitive arms, no ill effects from our vaccinations. Did I say I'm glad you're feeling better?

Do you use tapping yourself, Vince?

I feel grateful that the very first time I tried tapping I felt such a difference that it lead me on a path to explore it more and more. It took a while before I was willing/interested in being a Certified Practitioner but doing so has lead two so many major discoveries, the most important being that I know how to do really effective EFT sessions with myself and others, but also that I now understand why so many people don't get the results/changes they're after - they need to do it differently than they are.

Yep done a bit of reading into it and used it for my partners pre race anxiety. It works pretty well. It's kinda silly though when I am reading about people who have serious trauma using tapping to help and I am using it to run faster.

Oh, good!

Nah, I don't think that's silly. EFT can be used for such an incredibly wide range of things. I think it's wonderful if you use it on any area of your life that's important to you. I personally love that it can be used for both trauma resolution and athletic performance enhancement and everything else in between.

I'm glad you're feeling better too! We've had two Pfizer and one Moderna and the Moderna one knocked my partner around quite a bit, whereas I just had a hot face for a day, it was weird.

The photo of you walking through the bush just looks so relaxing - I'm glad you got out there. I love love love the photo of the lizard... what a fun little tiny dinosaur.

Hello Adam! Nice to see you here 😁 I heard that Moderna was much stronger than Pfizer. Super glad it wasn't an option here in Aus. at the time of vaccines (I think you can now get it as a booster, but... no thank you!).

Me too. And thank you. I'll pass on your kind words to @new.things, my photographer 😅 !LOL

I love love love the photo of the lizard... what a fun little tiny dinosaur.

I know, right? Cutie! And probably not that different from dinosaurs really... 🤔
