It's Not A Good Story To Tell

I got inspired by @merit.ahama after reading through her post. It was so funny that I had to remember what my grandpa always tells me when it comes to the harmattan period. To be sincere, this period is fast approaching and everyone would find it possible to do the needful in terms of buying a cardigan. Yes, I mean a cardigan. This is what can withstand the cold.

Back then, my grandpa always told us about how a man must wait until this period before selecting his pride. At the time I kept saying what my grandpa would be referring to, not until I saw it myself. I saw the needful and what must be seen at all costs. I saw what my grandpa was referring to.

He told me that :

Son!!!... Do you know that you have to wait until the harmattan period before selecting your bride?

I knew all about what he meant but I still wanted to ask why.

My son… the reason is not far-fetched. Do you know that whenever it is harmattan period girls don't look so beautiful? Their beauty is stained with chalk beneath their feet. It is only a few that may be seen as neat.

The fact remains that whenever it is the harmattan period, there is always a situation where some people do have their legs white just as if they rob powder. They are somehow natural and this is why they always buy Vaseline cream which they would apply to their feet and their faces. It is a season when many people do have problems with their lips. Their lips are always having cuts just as if they have injuries.

So, if you truly want to know if a girl is beautiful or ugly, just try to wait until it is harmattan period.

Also, the girls are not the ones to watch when it comes to harmattan period, but the guys also.

Can I tell you something about myself? I'm the type who always does not dare to lick my lips instead would leave it as it is. The thing that makes me lick my lips would come out to be something I would blame myself for. There was a time I mistakenly licked it, it was a hell of war at that moment. Throughout that day, I was not myself as my lips had to peel off.

This has been happening to many and not just me. I can bet you that the harmattan period is not a good story to tell as many people who seem to like this period just did that for just one reason or else hated it to the fullest.

There is this palm cream that looks oily. This is what so many people in my village always use on their bodies just to keep the whitish Nature from attacking them or to keep the whitish path not too obvious.

Some ladies used lipstick just to make their lips remain wet. They called it wet lips. The ladies know what I'm talking about.

The story behind harmattan is not a good story to tell. @merit spoke of everywhere being collected by dust and to be sincere, if you are not careful, this dust would make your legs suspicious. They would make your legs look white just as if you are dirty whereas not.

Beware as it's going to happen again. There is no year it would not happen.
