A small vacation plan

Hello, Hivers and Ecencials!

First of all, this is my first time participating in Ecency's Ed topics. I kept telling myself every week that I would do it this time, but for one reason or another, I would get to Sunday night without posting my participation until today.

And better late than never, right?
So I go with my answer to the topic proposed by @mypathtofire for this week, Holidays. But first, I'll take the time to wish @beerber a full recovery soon.

This year, as has been the case for the past few years, I have not planned a long vacation. The last time we were able to do so was the Christmas before the pandemic. But I am one of those who believe that a vacation can be as simple as a weekend getaway, or even a trip with a different purpose can turn into a few days of vacation, as was our case when we visited Bogota last year.

This year, there are no plans for "summer" yet. You could say here it is always summer, though, hehe. And if something comes up, it will depend largely on what my son ends up doing. I would like nothing more than to see him, but we'll see.

But there is a place that is not too far away that I have had my eye on for a few months. I would love to get away there with my husband for a few days at the first chance.

Where do you plan to go? Who do you plan to go with?

This little vacation would be at the beach. In a small coastal village called Urama, it's located about 3 hours from Caracas.

It is a fishing village, but they have established small inns overlooking the sea, and it's turning to be the principal activity of the town nowadays.

Last year, my husband had to go there to film. And he liked the place, and we have been wanting to go there ever since.

So to the second part of the question, the person I will go with, it's my hubby;)

Why do you like to go there? What do you like to do there?

I love the sea, and the idea of staying in a quiet place in front of the sea seems like a perfect plan.

During the day, I would lie in the sun and swim in the sea.

I would also take long walks around the place to explore the area.

And one of the places I want to visit is a small beach called La Cueva, which has some impressive rock formations.

What food do you eat there?

From what my husband tells me and from what some friends who have visited the area have told me. Some inns offer gourmet food, and their offer is an outstanding foodie experience.

But if you ask what I would like to eat, I can only think of fried fish with tostones and avocado. And eat it looking at the sea.
