Crypto Earnings Altcoin Investment Portfolio (Month #13 October 2021)
I continue to build this portfolio adding some new coins each month even though I can switch it around into taking profit at any given point if the signs are there to do so.
I did add 4 different coins last month again after they already saw quite a big increase in value as these projects seem to have gotten some adoption being outside a crazy speculative phase. It was similar when I got into Solana / Terra / Polygon and those are up 474% - 214% - 363%. So far it have mainly been the bigger cap coins that were already on the 1st page of coinmarketcap that have performed the best while the microcap 'shitcoin gambles' have not produced a home run yet. I actually bought Alchemist at 100$ and Moonriver at 340$ so slight profit combined.
October Added Coins
This time around, bought 4 different coins and I have also been increasing the dollar amount on how much I buy since my online crypto earnings have gone up quite a bit compared to when I started this portfolio when the average buy was 50$.
I have had Phantasma (SOUL) on my radar for a while but never got into it as Ultra (UOS) is one of my main bets in blockchain gaming infrastructure (See Reasons I'm Buying ultra (UOS) which I published 2 years ago when I stacked up at a price of 0.045$. Anyway, I hate to miss out an be wrong which is why I added Enjin a while ago to this portfolio and now also Phantasma with Crypto Gaming being the hype now and more youtube content which made the FOMO kick in. This time buying on a pullback after a pump. I did bu SOUL at a price of 0.625$ on 12/10/2021, right now it's at 1.03$.

I also added some THORChain on the same day buying it at 7.2$ (now 14.59$) again as one of those coins I have been missing out on to get in waiting a long time seeing the price go up and up and up. I finally pulled the trigger on what looked to be a good potential entry point and I haven't regretted it yet. Aside from knowing it has something do do with cross-chain swaps I know nothing about it and I also have no clue if anyone actually is using it. There is quite some hype around it though which most of the time is what counts in crypto.
I added Kucoin (KCS) a couple of days ago as it's looking to have a clear blue sky breakout into new all-time highs. So far this has not happened yet and it seemed to have pulled back even since I bought. I use the kucoin exchange and quite like the experience. It has a ton of obscure altcoins the public is going to want to gamble on so the coming months should see some more adoption.
This is one of the many layer 1 chains I totally missed out on as it pumped quite a bit the past 3 months. It feels very similar to Binance Chain and Polygon and one of the questions I'm stuck with is how many of these cheaper chains are actually going to get used. That being said, I do use Tron / EOS / Binance Chain / Polygon myself for certain dapps so I guess there is room for more of these. Likely only a couple of them will become really big and I can see a TRON / EOS scenario for many of the new ones like AVAX where they pump and fade back as the actual adoption doesn't really happen.
The 2 last coins were bought with the Ampeforth I managed to earn last year on Publish0x seeing how it increased to 377$. I'm not really a believer of the rebase idea so I sold them.

Pretty good month for Altcoins and the portfolio now is up +100% and even +14.81% against the original BTC buy value. Since I cost-average spreading things between many different coins, this portfolio is not really set to make crazy gains. The total value is getting closer to 10k though now being at 8369.64$.

Gosh, this is a lot. You have invested so much in Altcoins. I see you are not planning to back off anytime soon.
But, why is the returns in September 2020 empty?
Start of Investing was September 2020, so its 0% or -
Oh, I understand now, thanks for explaining.
September last year I when I started this portfolio, the moment the signs are there (I hope I'll be able to pick them up) I will start taking some profit on these coins and I will see where to go from there on out.
I have Avalanche on my radar, also enjoy Kucoin experience - very solid.
