Similar to last week in Europe, most of my focus will be on live betting so here are some brief previews on the matches 3 tonight from the final week of the group stage.

AA Gent vs Molde

AA Gent (69M) is currently 3rd in their group and only a win today will qualify them for the next round. Overall based on the statistics they have been one of the better teams in the group despite playing quite poorly overall not impressing or living up to their potential whatsoever. This is somewhat similar in the league even though they recently took 3 wins a draw and a loss showing that they still do ok against weaker teams. They also have a reputation based on the past years when delivering when they need to. Tonight at home against Molde (17M) this is one of those occasions. Molde should not be underestimated but also not overestimated. In matches like this there is just a fair chance for the home team getting the job done in the end even though I'm by no means willing to bet the farm on it. The available odds now for me are good for a 0.15 unit bet on AA Gent -0.5 @ 1.989 and I will keep an eye out to potentially take more if they in fact play well today. Just a straight away win is also by no means unthinkable.

Union SG vs Union Berlin

Union (37M) is already the group winner while a draw might not be enough for Union Berlin (89M) to quality in Braga wins convincing at home against Malmo. After an extremely busy schedule and more matches coming up in the league and the Belgian Cup, Union should use this match to rest their A-Squad which has played a lot of minutes already. It however doesn't look like the coach will do this and they are taking the match seriously it seems. Betting Union just because of the situation where they are qualified while Berlin more or less needs a win is not an option. The previous 2 home matches in this group for Union ended with 5 and 6 goals now playing a match where they have nothing to lose while the opponent has to score a goal. Both the away matches from Berlin did end in a score with 1 goal each. I did take a cautious 0.15 unit bet on 1st Half Over 1 @ 1.943 and will see how it goes in-game.

Silkeborg vs Anderlecht

This is another match where Anderlecht (99M) is sure to quality if they manage to take the win away against Silkeborg (11M) who have enough with a draw. At home, Anderlecht won with a narrow not undeserved 1-0 which came from a penalty. By now they have a different coach and things are still going quite poorly and they overall have just an inexperienced team without the needed quality to live up to their name. Only against really poor team they tend to be able to make the difference and I would be surprised if it turned in an easy away win today. Their new coach also talks a lot about control so I can't see them coming out taking a bit of risk to get an early lead. The previous encounter was a game low on chances and I would not be surprised to see something similar today where Silkeborg is happy to keep it at a draw while Anderlecht is happy to have a chance to qualify with a late goal. I did take a pre-game trading position of 0.4 units on 1st Half under 1 @ 1.985 which I will slowly scale out of if possible even if the match totally looks to be without danger.
